Pre-birth Background: J'derras' ancestors hailed from the southern Elsweyr city of Senchal, where they worked for a wealthy Khajiit merchant-lord who made most of his wealth farming and exporting Moon Sugar. His ancestors were sold into slavery to Morrowind in 3E 351, where they worked in the city of Blacklight in northern Morrowind for House Hlaalu as spice farmers until Helseth Hlaalu renounced the slave trade in Morrowind. When his ancestors were freed, they migrated to Skyrim where they settled down at Solitude in 3E 428, where they became merchants that specialized in selling spices, picking up their skills from their jobs as slaves in Morrowind.
There J'derras' family stayed, content with their new home, even during the Oblivion Crisis and the following struggles in the Imperial Empire.

General Background/Personality: J'derras was a curious and inquisitive youth, as well as friendly and helpful to everyone he met, even races that often have ire towards Khajiit or vice-versa. Like most Khajiit, J'derras has a bit of a sweet tooth, but abstains from Moon Sugar because of the known narcotic effects it has on others.

J'derras is incredibly resourceful and cunning, learning how to pick locks and perform alchemy as hobbies. His childhood friend was a Breton named Reynard Copperford, who convinced his parents to teach the two of them alteration and illusion magic.

Beginning of his story: J'derras Dar-Jokrin was walking home after he picked up some food from the market in Solitude. It was a good clear day, relatively warm for a day in Skyrim. J'derras was able to practice his alteration and illusion magic with his Breton friend Reynard Copperford and he finished carving a wooden amulet he started about two weeks ago with his prized dagger. He took a moment to admire the beauty of the land that lay before him, sitting on his favorite spot to relax with his tail curled up around his legs; near the edge of the natural stone bridge in Solitude, watching the ships arrive and depart to the other parts of Tamriel. He often thought about travelling to the other parts of Skyrim, maybe make a living as an adventurer and helping people from the bandits that constantly plagued the frontier.

Finally, he decided he better get home before his parents begin to worry; yet something felt wrong in J'derras mind. The colors of the street seemed to fade around him, yet no one was acting out of the ordinary, like everything was normal, yet J'derras knew something was wrong. As he entered his home, he shouted," Mother, Father! I'm home!" No answer. Maybe they're upstairs, he thought. He walked up to his parent's room and opened the door. The sight before J'derras left him speechless in horror, aside from his muttered words, "S'rendarr's mercy". His tail quivered in fear absolute. There on the floor were the bloody corpses of his beloved parents, their tails severed and their faces mangled with a look that screamed to J'derras RUN!!!, and hunched over them was an intruder, a Bosmer whose hands were soaked in blood and a bite of his Ohmes-raht father's tail in his mouth. Clearly the Bosmer followed that stereotype of the cannibal. J'derras was equally horrified and nauseated. When the Bosmer looked into J'derras eyes and vice-versa, J'derras gasped and bolted out of his home.

J'derras ran like a mad man, tearing through the streets of Solitude in tears, determined to get as far away as possible from that Bosmer. The bloodlust in the Bosmer's eyes was something J'derras never wanted to see again. He didn't really think about what he was going to do or where he was going to go. He simply decided he was going to leave Skyrim, for good. Maybe he could start a new life in Cyrodiil, or even head back to his racial homeland of Elsweyr and stay with his aunt and uncle. When J'derras finally stopped running, he was probably a good 5 miles from Solitude. He stopped and rested on a nearby rock, trying to catch his breath. When he finally did, he began to sob. His parents were dead, and he didn't feel safe in his hometown anymore.

It was a good thing he never left home without his dagger, it was always good to be armed nowadays, now that the civil war had broken out and the Imperial guards felt the need to discriminate against the rebelling races, particularly the Khajiit and Argonians, since Elsweyr and Black Marsh had seceded from the Empire a few years back. J'derras decided to get moving again, he had to try and reach another city before nightfall. Even with his fur, he probably wouldn't last long exposed in Skyrim's tundric climate.

Eventually, J'derras made it to Falkreach with little difficulty, where he stopped at the inn for the night. He didn't really pay any attention to details, as his mind was too caught up in the recent events. He thought about where he should go from here. I could probably stop in Cyrodiil, maybe the Imperials there aren't as biased against other races. It is cosmopolitan after all. Then again, if I really want to be safe, I should probably go to Elsweyr, I did hear that Senchal is nice this time of year. He decided to just go to sleep, his mind was cloudy from all the running and he was cold and tired. He curled up in the bed and quickly fell asleep.

When J'derras awoke the next morning and left the inn, he couldn't help but notice that the people in the streets seemed to be avoiding him. That's odd, he thought, What's with these people? J'derras finally decided to leave Skyrim and head back to Elsweyr, catching a ride from whatever ship docked in the Imperial City. He left the city of Falkreach and walked down the path towards Helgen, since he overheard that the pass into Cyrodiil to the west was blocked off, though no one had any idea why.

Just as he walked into Helgen, he heard that ever familiar shout," Stop right there, criminal scum!" The Imperial guard knocked J'derras to the ground with the hilt of his sword without provokation. J'derras cried out," Agh! What in Oblivion was that for? I didn't do a damn thing!"

"Lies! We've heard from the guard in Solitude that a young Khajiit matching your description is the culprit of the murder of an older Khajiit couple."

"What?! Are you talking about my parents? I didn't kill them, that's insane! Who in Oblivion told the guard I did that?"

"A Bosmer, who asked he remain anonymous, said he heard the shouts from your house and went to investigate, there he saw you standing over their corpses. You are now under arrest. Come with me!"

"That's horse****! He's the one wh-" The guard hit the Khajiit in the face with his shield this time. J'derras fell to the ground hard, and could only think before losing consciousness, When I find that Bosmer, I'm going to rip his damn intestines out of his throat with my claws.Notes: I actually did a ton of research to determine his accurate birthdate by the use of the phases of the Moon aligning with his birthsign. This is essentially myself if I was born as a Khajiit in Tamriel. The end of his beginning story is right before the game of Skyrim starts. (Yes, I made myself Dovahkiin, I don't care.)
