Skyrim Collector's Edition?

Post » Fri Jul 16, 2010 8:06 pm

As most famous/big games i guess there will be a collector's edition for Skyrim. In the Oblivion we got the pocket guide, making of DVD and the Imperial Septim Coin.
What do you hope you'll get in Skyrim Collector's Edition ( If there is one)?

I will pay whatever they want for whatever they put in there.

Unless there's a [censored] figurine.

Some sort of In-game item. A real life Daedra artifact, maybe? A guide to translating Dragon language would be neat as well.

Sure, why not totally screw over the people who just want to buy the regular game and get the whole bloody game?

A MUST is a cloth Map. Also I would like to have a Dragon figurine. Yeah greatcarbuncle doesn't want that. ;) I don't want anything lame like a septim coin. That didn't make it feel Oblivion at all. Maybe because
it is weightless and you can have so much, I didn't even give it a second look.

A nice Art Book and fluff in it. I wouldn't mind another Mouse Pad of the map of Tamriel. I used mine up after having it for over 10 years. I don't care for music cd because you can listen to it if you have the PC version and there is always You Tube, so it's really not needed.

So I guess Cloth Map, Art Book is expected. Not sure what else they can add, unless a multiplayer Arena type style to take a break from adventuring all the time.

I want to be surprised too. WIthin reason of course, I don't want an angry honey badger in the box.

Far more annoying are the posts about the previous threads. There's about twenty of them per duplicate thread.

Anyone want a cool nord figurine? Has an elder scrolls game ever come with a figurine? they could include a Nord warrior in viking gear with a sword and mace or something.

So when people say they want to be surprised, does that mean you will buy it and not know what is inside? This is a whish list, so saying you want to be surprised, I just don't understand. :)

I think they mean that they want to be surprised when the contents of the CE are announced: they want something original that they wouldn't have known to expect.

Whatever it is I will be buying the highest edition possibly even if it costs two hundred dollars for your very own dragon egg, cloh map, game, a new version of a Guide to the Empire 4th edition.

An apology letter for all of the features that won't be as great as they made them out to be or decided to take out completely.
