SKYRIM COLLECTORS EDITION NEEDS MORE IN GAME ITEMS

Post » Tue Oct 18, 2011 8:00 pm

I get it Bethesda what ever you make people will buy. Even if its Rage for PC that won't run b/c we decided to use BETA Drivers to make "Borderlands" w/ "so-call" better graphics.
But charging $149.99 for a Collectors that doesn't come with anything worthwhile for In-Game is quite pathetic, You can go buy a bigger better Dragon Statue at the Renaissance Fair
for 1/2 the Price. I hope you add some in-game bonus to the Collector's maybe then I'll be able to sell your product better.

Bethesda didn't make rage and just buy downloadable content when it is released.

In game items are pointless since you can find better items within no time. I was hoping for some other swag in the CE. Such as the soundtrack or something.

I hate in-game items that are included with pre orders/ collectors editions. Just throw in the soundtrack and we are good.

I wish they had made a mid-level with just the art-book. The current option svcks.

Agreed but in a less-hostile tone.

I'm really glad they didn't go for exclusive in-game items.

Agreed, the soundtrack would be an awesome addition to the set.

Or some people don't want to waste 90 bucks on a statue and artbook.

#1. So don't buy it. It's your money
#2. So go to the Rennie fair and really impress me with a dragon statue?
#3.

. I guess you mean to imply you're in the business of selling videogames. On one hand, it's pretty unprofessional to come to the game forum, play the "I'm mad here's all caps in my topic name" game, and then quack. On the other hand, cry me a river if you can't move product out the door. Become a better salesman. If you can't move Skyrim off your shelves, you're doing something wrong

Meh... Real, tangible items > temporarily exclusive 0's and 1's. Some plain 'ol dragon statue bought at a renaissance fair will not be Aluduin with a word wall, so the included statue is unique. Leave selling Skyrim to Beth as I think they've got it covered.

Also, modding around injected preorder forms in FNV was a total pain in the ass.

If you are peeved no in-game items for CE.....don't get CE , just get the regular retail copy. It's really that simple.

If you like what you get for 149.99 then by all means buy it.

In-Game exclusives are horrible. Someone else should have a better experience playing the game just because they shell out an extra 90 bucks? No thank you. Now a t-shirt and a soundtrack on the other hand....

This isn't Dragon Age 2 where you could literally have every slot covered from just preorder bonuses. Besides, that kind of stuff is gimmicky and lame, i for one am glad it doesn't include any in game items.

Collector's Editions aren't really all that special in the end. You are paying for the extra items. I've realized over the years that the extra money doesn't make the game any better - it's still the same game in the end and that's what I'm spending my money on, not the art book or PVC Dragon statue.

Meh, no thanks. I don't need items. That seems pointless because there are going to be some many friggin' items in the game...

EXACTLY........I know NV wasn't Bethesda, but the in game junk they gave with release was pathetic. It outlived its usefulness after the first few levels.
