How convenient that you made this thread when there's no moderators online.

Huh? All three versions are being developed at the same time. There's no "port."

I think they tend to work on one version, then shift it to the others. They're close enough that they can do that without too many changes. With the xbox 360 being the lowest common denominator, that's probably the system their working with. The big question is, when they shift it to the other two platforms, how much time will they spend optimizing for them.

A big example is with the menu systems. The menu system for Skyrim was very clearly developed for the consoles, as it would seem to fit their needs. It doesn't fit the needs of the PC, though. They have some there will be some differences for the PC version, such as the inclusion of hotkeys (which the consoles don't get), but we don't know to what extent.

Yep, Ban me for telling the truth.

It was confirmed Skyrim was a console port, the lead developer prefers console gaming.

Meaning all you people with an awesome pc will be limited FPS wise, and forced to play a game designed for consoles on your pc ( Ie clunky interface ).

I feel bad for everyone actually excited about this game :(

The PC gamers will have mods that improve graphics, add new locations, add new quests, improve user interface and will skyrocket the replay value while all you people with an awesome console will be limited to what you get out of the box.

Don't feel bad about me, feel bad for console gamers, they have it worse :)

You have just suggest a company to fire a person because of his opinion about the gameplaying of a GAME? I hope you didn't do this frecuently as else, one day one businessman could do as you say. Other persons jobs aren't something to play with.

then I read ' Skyrim for pc will be a console port, as I prefer console games '

Seriously Bethesda? Seriously? You should fire that man right now

Wasn't that Todd Howard? The guy pretty much responsible for the success of the Elder Scrolls series?

and hire on someone who actually knows a thing or too about the gaming community. Consoles are not the way of the future, never have been, never will be.

That's just plain wrong. Since the NES, consoles have been the way of the future and are more popular than PC gaming. Sorry, bud. I like PC gaming and all too, but that's how it goes.

Sorry you have to get so angry about something so silly, but I guess you aren't a real fan of the series if something so petty causes you to stop playing them.

Oh no, you bought an incredibly expensive video card and now you can't use it on anything because every game is is optimized with consoles in mind. Joke's on you I guess.

Bethesda tends to be pretty good with different ports ever since Fallout 3, so you can't even complain about the interface either...

Bethesda does not svck balls.

Oh, and whether you don't like it or not, console gamers are the reason we get our Elder Scrolls games on such a more massive scale. The more profitable returns from consoles, the grander the scale of the game. I've accepted this fact and thank console gamers for their part in raising the TES standard to its modern excellence.

Thank you. This is very true. Too many PC gamers on too many forums do not understand this (and I am thinking of another forum I frequent regularly at the moment, not this one, when I say this).

Next he's gonna call the Better Business Bureau for them not putting guns in.
