Skyrim Construction Kit Edition

I'm going to have to go with a download. The biggest problem for Morrowind is that the CS didn't come with the Steam version. Downloads are good because then where you got the game will cease to matter.

I don't see anywhere in this thread anyone saying it shouldn't be free... I'm sorry, but you have TOTALLY misunderstood the OP or you have simply not read the entire OP.
For future references, read the OP before posting, thanks. :)

Nope, the OP is asking if people would pay for something that's free, if it included "extras" (which really aren't) that are also already available free- like unpacked versions of the game data files any owner of the game already has, which they could unpack themselves, or a manual which would be nothing more than a hardcopy of some of the free tutorials on the web.

For future reference, comprehend the OP before posting, thanks. :)

And how did I say anything against that?
The OP does not say that the Creation Kit should not be available free, something Ryo no Reiji apparently thought:
IT should be as Free as always has been!

Stop Trying to charge for stuff people , Bad enogh are DLC paying 5 bucks for stuff that should be free, now you want me to pay to mod!

Read the quoted post before posting, thanks. :)

EDIT: Oh, and "or a manual which would be nothing more than a hardcopy of some of the free tutorials on the web." - this could be used as argument for the Collectors Edition object that everyone is so fond of, the map of the world. It's just a hardcopy of something you can find on the web. So, imo, that is a bad argument to use.

I think people have misunderstood this topic a little.

What Pronam is asking, is if you would buy the Skyrim Creation Kit Edition, if it featured some extra items compared to the free web version (Like a handbook).
He's not saying that they should charge for the Creation Kit itself.

then yes
