Skyrim crashing on startup, no mods installed at all.

So, I installed Skyrim on my laptop a few weeks ago and played it for a few hours. I then came back to it a few days ago and I find that the game crashes before I even get to the Bethesda logo. I have no mods installed at all, and have all the DLC.

So far I've tried (if my memory serves me rightly, and not in the right order):

Reinstalling

Running as admin

Playing with compatibility settings

Disabling all DLC

Deleting my skyrim.ini files and letting the game remake them

I'm confused. As far as I am aware, nothing has changed on my PC for Skyrim to inexplicably stop working. Any of you guys got a suggestion? :o

First verify your game cache files: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

Then try a clean boot: http://support.turbine.com/link/portal/24001/24001/Article/88/How-do-I-perform-a-Clean-Boot-of-Windows

...and if that not works try a system restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/system-restore

----------------

if the problem persist try a clean installation that way. (if you haven't already done)

Spoiler
First do a standard uninstall. (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features-> Uninstall The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

Next, delete your skyrim folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\

Then delete your Skyrim directory under Documents/ My Games after backing up your save files if you wish.

Then under C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\ - Delete the Skyrim folder that is in it.
(You should enable to see the hidden files under windows to delete that folder.) HOW: (View - Options - Folder Options - View - Advanced Settings: Show hidden files, folders and drives)

Use Ccleaner after all this (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner), and install your game again, from scratch. !!!!

You don't need to uninstall Steam.

I fixed it by downloading SKSE and then running that as an administrator, bypassing the launcher. Thanks for your post nonetheless man!
