skyrim date clash

well we all know skyrim is out on 11.11.11, but on 7.11.11 call of duty modern warfare 3 is coming out so do you think this will affect the sales i mean they are both big names in the gaming industry

It's November, the "holiday shopping season". There's been a massive glut of game releases at that time every year since as long as I can remember. Any game company releasing a game in that period knows this... if they wanted to avoid it, they could have.
