According to Todd the date is "as solid as any game release date can be"

Really? That bad? lol

Bah, I still prefer a delayed game than an unpolished one.

Tell Dukenukem to that, oh and they said the same thing about Oblivion, poor guy got pushed back 4-6 months....oh and it was also slated to release Q4 2005 :D

Personally I would not mind if it was delayed, it could only get even MORE epic.

I hope they didn't feel presured to release the game in 11/11/11 if isn't enough stable.

11.11.11 is the most memorable date this year.. doubt it will change especially when all the other games will release around the same time.

Are you kidding me?

I will enjoy the hell out of this game even if it is riddled with bugs.

they could give me the pre-pre-pre-pre Alpha build today and I would have a blast with it.

I dont think Bethesda would delay a game set for 11/11/11. I think that is one reason they chose that date

This, I was in Gamestop a few weeks ago, rebuying the Shivering Isles for my 360 (already had it on PC, wanted it on 360) and next to me is a Cashier and a customer talking about Skyrim.

Not going to happen. In fact, i'm so certain it won't happen that if it does, i'll buy every single person on these forums a copy of the game.

I would not put much faith in that artical since the person quoted has no link to bethesda.
All the way through E3 they emphasized 11\11\11 and they know they can fix bugs with patches later on anyway so it will be in stores and most stores will likely open at midnight to start selling the game.

If they do delay it, I can at least take solace in the fact it will be well-polished. I would rather play a well-polished game later than a bug-ridden one earlier.

Well I don't think they had a set date but it was supposed to be released at the end of 2005 very close to the launch of the 360. But they ended up delaying it until March.

tbh, that was a pathetic article, he didnt even give reasons or anything. Basically I saw more of "I think Skyrim and Saints Row III will get delayed"

If they do miss they may as well just hold out until 11/11/2111
