If it were me and I could, I would just stand there for HOURS watching other people play the demo haha

Did you see any of the 5 main cities , or just farms/settlements? Was the hamlet compass icon for Riverwood?

Couple more things I want to mention:

-Different biomes blend awesomely. I didn't even notice the line between the two, one second I was in pine forest, the next in a snowy valley.
-Draugr rise out of coffins. It freaked the player out :P

Ha, yeah... for me it was like a roller coaster, I really wanted to go on it again and again!

I didn't, though, mostly because I wanted to check out ME3 and Rayman Origins. ME3 is pretty much a carbon copy of 2, but Origins is amazing!

No, but I think the hamlet was Riverwood. I definitely saw Riverwood at some point, and it was smaller than I thought (I haven't watched the official demo).

And the compass icon itself was I *think* a dragon. I followed it to see if I could see a dragon for real, slightly disappointing :P

You haven't watched the demo footage from E3, or the official ones released by Beth last month? Your mind must have been blown when you got to play! What were your overall impressions of graphics/sound/water?

Honestly, I was slightly disappointed with mine - I really didn't see as much as I wanted to by myself. Still well worth it, though :D

Well I've read others that seem to have slightly more happening than yours. But it seems like going in a different direction than everyone else, although maybe making you see less of the world, let you really see some completely different things. At least we know there's still far more out there.

The only stuff I've watched are the two trailers, the demo 'highlights' from PAX (or some other expo) and the stuff from EuroGamer. It was a conscious choice not to watch the 3 demo videos from last month, because I want to experience Skyrim for myself. And yeah, it was mindblowing!

And Graphics: Freakin' beautiful. Really freakin' beautiful. But not photorealistic, although this seems to be an art direction by Bethesda. And I really like it,

Sound: I didn't hear much, it was quite quiet, but what I did get was a remixed version of one of the Oblivion themes (my favourite, don't know where to start looking for it though), and some battle music, which was really cool. I didn't get to hear any of the creature noises, though.

Water: Much better than Oblivion's, looks realistic now - but as I said, the see-through-water glitch is still alive and kicking :D

You've also got to consider that most official sources had around an hour to look, whereas I has a quarter of that.

Do you mean world? If so, I really couldn't get a feel for it in such a short time, but as I said, it made me feel as if there was one hell of a lot more to discover. It's an Elder Scrolls game, it can't be anything else :D

How bad is the SCREEN TEARING in Skyrim? When you pan the camera too fast basically. I am asking because in Oblivion the tearing was really bad especially on an HD tv. Has Skyrim improved on this since you have first hand experience playing the game?

Thanks

I had zero screen tearing on both 360 and PS3. Maybe it's something to do with the tv/settings?
