Bethesda is showing more info on Rage and most likely show Skyrim at E3. Never believe in these "most anticipated" votes. It's like believing the weatherman :whisper:
9. Rage wait a sec, wasn't this the highlight game of last years e3?
10. Metal Gear Solid Rising wtf?
i got this from gamespot and im suprised not to see skyrim
What gets me is that Rage is on there, but was at last years E3, so it is like they are anticipating a game they have already seen ........ohhhhh
You all also have to understand that the fanbase for the Elder scrolls is pretty much on this forum. Most gamers today are looking forward to stupid ass games that have nothing special about them(FPS). /troll
My idyllic paradise was shattered today when I realized that a group of people I don't know in a totally subjective industry, disagreed with my personal aesthetic.
Now that I think about it, I know we are not the only ones with these reactions right now. Look at the Assassins Creed community, and Bioshock, Battlefield, and so on. Just trying to lighten the mood

The list is based on how many people are following the game on Gamespot.
Aside from that, TES V is listed as one of the http://www.gamespot.com/special_feature/e3-2011-anticipated/our-e3-2011-picks/index.html?image=16 -- which look to be in no particular order.

Ah ha! Thanks for clearing those clouds, Gstaff! :tops:
As I visit different sites looking for articles for work, I always see Skyrim articles and a glance at the comments leaves me no doubt that Skyrim is very highly anticipated and the comments are very positive. It can't just be all the people from here posting in the various Comment sections.
HAHA they put Rage on the top list and not Skyrim? They're both from bethesda and there is no possible way that Rage is going to be more popular than skyrim. I can understand how some of these games might have made it ahead of skyrim; not because I think the games are better, but because they have more popular appeal... But Final Fantasy? Deus Ex? Batman? Rage? gimme a break lol
To be fair... the most anticipated games of E3 2011 are probably:
1. New Call of Duty 2. Battlefield 3 3. The old Republic
As much as I (and others on the forum of course) love TES... its just not nearly as popular as most of your other major titles out there. Even though GameSpots list is quite wonky, I don't think its wrong that Skyrim isn't on there... there are other games that REALLY should be on there that aren't (BF3, MW3 for example) if were going to talk about strait up popularity. With that said, what does it matter? All that matters is that Skyrim will be there. Who cares what some game sites are saying.
I really don't see why The Old Republic is #1 I'm a huge Star Wars fan, like some MMO's and enjoy BioWare games(The older ones anyway) But The Old Republic... The more I saw the worse it got.
You do realise that the judges of this are not associated with the ESA. The E3 judges was created by people of various publications (some not even game related) so that they can view games without having to go to the E3 floor. So they view games in private, however only those by publishers who are part of the ESA.
EDIT: My bad, saw this was for Gamespot and then I saw Rage too. Yeah what the hell. Perhaps Bethesda isn't showing anything at E3 for Skyrim and are focussing on something else instrad? Gamespot are asses though.
Bethesda ISNT showing anything at E3 their booth is closed off to the public. "invite only"
