Are you saying you want owners of the PS3 version to be screwed over?

You didn't miss much. The horse armor was a joke, and the other DLCs were meh at best. Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine were the only real DLC to care about.

As for the Skyrim DLC, I agree with you guys; console exclusive rights is a ridiculous policy and just caters to profiteers and not the players.

That said, I'd like to segway to speculation as to the possible DLC for Skyrim. Now naturally we don't even know details about the game itself yet, so that limits our possibilities, but I've noticed a pattern with the DLC of both Morrowind and Oblivion so far that might give us a clue as to what we can expect with the main expansions/DLCs of Skyrim: in both Morrowind and Oblivion, there was one expansion that centered around and involved Daedric lore (Hircine in Bloodmoon and Sheogorath in Shivering Isles), and another that dealt with some regional plot device (Helseth and Alamalexia in Tribunal and the Knights of the Nine in Oblivion). Therefore, it could be safe to assume that Skyrim will also include two expansions/DLCs that center on a Daedric prince and a local lore.

Anyone have any ideas or hopes?

Todd hinted at not planning on doing expansions anymore because they supposedly take too much time.

Yeah, I don't see the point in limiting DLC ... they're making money off of it after all

You didn't miss much. The only one I got (apart from KotN and SI) was the mages tower.

Yes to open DLC for all in Skyrim for everyman is equal!

I liked the Frost Spire Crag DLC, it gave me complete control over the game being able to enchant my gear with Chameleon and being able to slaughter anyone and guards having no idea where Im at

I did have a 360 plus the ESIV for it but sold it all when my 360 died

If they do anything on Daedric princes, I'm hoping for either Nocturnal or Azura. Both of them have always fascinated me :D

Ugh, I REALLY hope that's not the case. I love the expansions just as much as the game itself.

I agree that they should continue the trend
Morrowind had two Expansions and so did Oblivion

Fallout 3 had 0, and I'm not sure if KotN was really an expansion.

What? Wait a minute, are you talking about "expansions" as a separate thing than DLC? I totally thought you were molding the two into one there.

Bethesda has said they are more interested in doing DLC in the size of FO3's and KOTN.

Yes, I was separating them.

On the topic of platform exclusivity, as a PS3 fan, I also strongly oppose Bethesda's practices related to this. I also strongly oppose exlusive content, in general, but in this specific instance, I am personally angry.

i thought knights of the nine was gay, then again i only roleplay evil characters, and HELLO!!! what about DEEPSCORN LAIR!!!! that was the best lair in the game besides benirus manor's necromancer lair, and then again i only roleplay evil characters

EDIT: what they should add as a DLC is playable lich and quest/necromancer lord :)

That makes more sense then, yeah. Sorry about that.

But I don't know if that changes the pattern. Knights, like Tribunal, was related to local events - and even though it was smaller than SI, it was still PRETTY big, so I always considered it an expansion when combined with the rest of the DLCs that were tiny in scope. So the pattern could still play out: if they do something like Fallout 3, you could have one DLC that involves the Daedra with three or four others focused on the lore, or a different break down.

But "the size of Fallout 3's" isn't really definitive of anything- do they mean Operation: Anchorage (pretty damn small) or Point Lookout (pretty damn big)?

That's kind of like building cars and saying you want to focus on vehicles "about the size of a Honda Civic or a Hummer."

Honestly Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine were the only ones worth anything :sadvaultboy: I downloaded every piece of DLC, yes, even the Horse Armor and Spell Tomes :sadvaultboy:

Then you look at horse armor and SI.One should be free and the other is almost a whole new game. So they are focusing on the size range I said earlier.
