Fallout 3 taught me to wait for the uber-edition. I don't buy DLC from Bethesda. I'll snag the original game, then wait for all of the dlc to be released on a GOTY/uber-edition, trade in my original, and buy the uber-edition. It ends up being about the same price as a game plus one DLC rather than a game plus five DLCs. It svcks that I get it later, but I'm willing to wait to save a few bucks. DLC is something I still have problems paying for. The game is already expensive. Throw three ten-dollar DLCs on top of that, and now Ive paid a hundred bucks for a game. I can't justify that.

As for releasing the DLC at different times, I can understand the business move behind it, but I think it risks alienating gamers that might just go buy something else.

This is probably what I'll do. Although I'm irritated at the Xbox being favoured over the PS3 I can wait until the GOTY becomes cheap.

You want to complain and whine about things, yet you have absolutely no idea why decisions are made as a fan. You aren't in the chairs of the devs, Todd Howard, or Pete Hines. You don't have multi billion dollar corproations breathing down your back, making you multi million dollar offers, to push their version of the product you are making.

If I'm wrong, and you do deal with those situations on a daily basis, by all means, correct me. But, well, 99% of the people on these forums don't know how that is.
