so,I have been playing ESV-Skyrim for while and my keyboard just stopped working. yesterday afternoon it worked,later night it just didn't work anymore. since I already had problems with mod(again lol) I just uninstalled Skyrim with full lobotomy if that would help. I also checked malwares and viruses,nothing founded. but it didn't help. any1 have clue why this happens?

Do a clean install that way:

First do a standard uninstall. (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features-> Uninstall The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

Next, delete your skyrim folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\

Backup the Saves folder first, then delete your Skyrim directory under Documents/ My Games (saves folder is there)

Then under C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\ - Delete the Skyrim folder that is in it.
(You should enable to see the hidden files under windows to delete that folder.) HOW: (View - Options - Folder Options - View - Advanced Settings: Show hidden files, folders and drives)

I recommend you make a system restore point before you run ccleaner. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/create-a-restore-point
Use Ccleaner after all this (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner), and install your game again, from scratch. !!!!

You don't need to uninstall Steam.

yes I reinstalled Skyrim.

I made uninstallation like normal uninstallation,erased Skyrim from user folder,everything out.

then I installed Skyrim back,didn't help. Google told some folks had issues with over lay of Steam and Raptr,tried those without good result,but got result needed when I uninstalled Raptr. weird,since I haven't changed settings of Raptr for over 6months and it didn't download any new patch or anything. sometimes feels like PC's are more mystical than biblical stories. so now all is good,thanks for effort Jasper1979

SO it was a background program. Specifically Raptr. Hopefully that helps others. PC's are very complex animals. It is amazing they work as well as they do most of the time.

yes. sometimes I had CTD issues with Skyrim and got resulted it by disabling CCleaner monitoring from background. sometimes MSI Afterburner monitoring caused artifacts. I belive it's mostly problems like these console players are so happy
