Yes it should be included! I want a reason to stay away from certain areas and wear warm clothing.

I honestly highly doubt this will be in the game.
at all.

They already had a basic form of this (rockslides) in Oblivion.

All of this sounds interesting, but i do think some it would get really tiresome in the long run. Like, imagine you got a quest and have to walk a long way through some mountains, which you already done 10 times before, and ur walking at 40% speed of whats normal, due to the snow. Would get annoying fast.

I think they should make a good weather system, snow storms with possible some frost damage, and other similar things that make the game feel alive, without being too annoying in the long run.

Yes, to avalanch, snow shelter cave-ins, glacial caves shifting, falling through the ice, reduce speed in deep snow, and cold. However, I'd think that being in the climate, it'd be pretty easy to get some snivel gear so that point is almost moot. I'd also like to see quests that take camouflage into consideration.

However, one cannot forget about the falling dragon dung! I'm mean eagle poop is bad enough....a dragon? :bolt:

This. BTW on the last statement:  that would be interesting

If they didn't even achieve a powdery snow effect around Bruma in Cyrodiil, how are they (Beth) gonna achieve an avalanche effect in the game? Not to mention, that would probably seriously bloat any save files.

id like to see this in some form but that would give a HUGE advantage to nords since they are naturally immune to the cold.

at the very least you should take damage when standing over a fire. :)

Just because you can't believe it can be done doesn't mean its not possible.

I would love to see a more 'survivalist' type of RPG with known dangers when you're out in the wilds. :)

Among my favorite mods for Oblivion were some that allowed you to fletch your own arrows and create leather armor from the skins taken from wildlife. Heck, I think I even made a small ranger camp, just for the sake of immersion at playing someone who is a survivalist :P

So having things like snow storms, avalanches, slippery slopes, falling icicles (in ice caves), hypothermia and more such things; they would be able to add a ton to the Skyrim experience! Make 'setting up camp' a requirement when out in the wild, chop/find wood and make a campfire to keep warm when in the colder regions of Skyrim etc.
