just wanted to post my first impressions with Skyrim on PC platform as feedback.
First, many thanks to gamesas. Really good work!
Now, the not so impressive parts, the impressive ones arent matter of this feedback.
Night/Daytime - why isnt it possible to have a choice on how dark nights are? And the moon could have some effect on brightness at nighttime.
Night/Daytime - I really would like to have somehow stronger / different creatures when it is dark outside of the towns. A little bit of mystery could make this game so much more.
Bandits -
Ok, the Bandits. Do they have to be distributed just all over the dungeons, but not being able to call for massive help, never at all? They seem like little sitting ducks just waiting for MY hero to eat them.
Shouldnt they call for help, ring the bells, blow the horn, barricade the doors, flee and come back with massive support? Assuming you meet 4 Bandits, they should fight a bit different.
Bandits/Faction -
When they see the slain bodies of their group members, why do they NOT call for help, and leave support crew in massive numbers where the body has been found, fortifying every spot they own in the area?
Stealth has to be worth it...somehow. I have the impression of a somewhat better hack&slay scrolls. strange, um?
Map -
Nice, cool, wonderful, but where are the main passages?? Is it possible to mod this map.....at all?
Dragons -
Mighty, mighty, mighty is what they should be....please consider DLC or a Addon just about DRAGONS! More, better, different, whatever. I am missing the Black Dragon with the glowing eyes, preferable at night.
Water -
Surface top, underwater not. Just like to point out Liquid Water 2...though I never, ever play Oblivion again, since Skyrim really, really is a relief here.
All in all - professional work, more than the expected quality, possibly best RPG for years, and lets hope everyone enjoying the elder scrolls universe is going to utter in his/her ideas. It definitely was worth for Skyrim!
Skyrim, my candidate for the Video Games Award 2011, in every category.
