Skyrim for PSVITA?

He is indeed mistaken. The Wii U is Nintendo's next gen console. It's supposed to be more powerful than the PS3 and 360 but not by a huge amount, which of course means the PS4 and next Xbox will crush it graphically yet again.

Anyways, to those saying that the Vita couldn't handle it. You're likely incorrect. Sure the ram is only 256 MB, but you forget that the Vita runs on a rather small screen and thus the models and textures don't need to be as detailed to look as good.

It's probably very possible to port Skyrim to the Vita. Also, the game can handle all the same controls as the PS3 and 360 controllers so controls are not an issue.

Finally, regarding the price. It's $250 and only a moron would buy the 3G model when they could just turn their phone into a wireless hotspot and thus still have portable internet on the Vita.

Bare in mind, $250 is what the 3DS costs so if you're going to claim the Vita (which is much more powerful than the 3DS) is over priced then that means you obviously think that the 3DS is the most overpriced console in history.

We aren't going to see a power difference like between the Wii and the Xbox 360 and PS3 again though. Heat efficiency hasn't increased enough for that.

i think it speaks volumes about the patheticness of consoles that a hand held system for less than $300 is almost as good. someone somewhere needs to give sony and microsoft a swift kick in the nads so that they get going on the next consoles. they are powered by hamsters for crying out loud.

Unfortunately I don't think there's much incentive for them to put out the next gen. They have console gamers in the palm of their hands. It's use their systems or use nothing. Or buy one of those super quadrillion dollar PCs so many of them seem to think is required for gaming.
