Skyrim for TES3

@ Melchior

Thanx man for this mass of armors, I will add nearly all of them to the mod, have to check the ReadMe for permission

Cheers Lestat

Hehe thanks, actually I got interrupted, here are a few more... hope I'm not smothering you, lol! :D

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6834 this could make for some good Imperial Legion armor or something.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2431 is just so sweet. Although there aren't Netches in Skyrim, it could possibly be renamed and be used as a heavy version of bear armor...

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4196 would be great for some Imperial Guards or something!

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5664 has a set of Werewolf armor (looks pretty nifty) as well as a set of Divine Armor which fits Skyrim's color scheme fairly well I think...

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2363, this just has to be some of the coolest ice-style armor ever...

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2495, could be good for the thieves guild faction or for some random quest mod or something I suppose.

All of the Knights of Tamriel armors would fit for members of the respective sections of the Imperial Cult. Do a search for "Knights of Tamriel" on PES and you'll find them.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2651

Well, that's the end of my armor suggestions. Good luck modding!

Time again for "TheDaywalker's Fairytales"!!! :P Made some new stuff on "TheRift", but my fps is yet so high that my PC begins to stutter. Have to reduce resolution of some textures and maybe use less lighting. Else someone out of the team, who has a stronger PC than mine has to finish the details of my work. Even working in the CS gets slower and slower, damn... :gun:

Flying Ice-Galleon (will be traveling service or maybe even realtime sailable, if some good scripter helps us on that?!)

Looks very nice. The ice galleon is very beautiful, and the ice hand balcony has a nice touch. Are you planning to release a resource-pack someday? You?ve got some great modelling skills (I refer also to the models for your TC).

Yap, I will do a ressource pack one day, but my TC isn't dead at all, so I will use most of those meshes for myself first I guess. I'm still waiting for that damn blank.esm, which has still some issues, but now I gotta pro dealing with it and hopefully can start my work soon.

That?s cool. Would be a shame if your work would get lost. Good luck with getting everything to work for your TC of course! Thought you abandoned it to help out with Skyrim.

Noway, I will do my TC whatever comes my way, cause that's what I learned modding for!!! :D I have been member of Skyrim since day one, but as I was working on my own WIPs and then changed from german CS to english CS, I had not enough time to be helpful on Skyrim. Now I try to work a bit more on this project again and do my TC beside, if I need some change of work.

Enough words, here is what I did so far today. I won't give any infos about that at the moment, cause you need not know to much. I can promise you, what you see will not be a place to relax from traveling!!! :o

If i remember SWG, your part of PC. I actually wanna see whats been done first, like TR tons done, and Skyrim I strill wanna see a map picture of whats been done. Honestly though it seems like PC is all over the place, are they still making the Objects, do they have land claims, i think PC needs to do what TR is doing for Claims and the works. Or are they doing that i do not know.

Sorry for being off topic.

We have claims, they are pretty messy though, I'm making all sorts of objects and stuff, since it isn't as easy as TR, in the sense that Morrowind didn't come with an Aylied tileset, and all the rest.

But if you just wanna do landscaping, I would join Skyrim, since P:C is in need of more resources and TR doesn't have much landscaping left to do.

well, at this point P:C is still in it's infantile stages. we do have claim areas, but with only three people working on all of them, it's definitely a more loose team relationship. once we've gotten a bit more accomplished, and more folks have joined the team, things will tighten up quite a bit as necessary.

anyway, thanks for considering us. with the addition of ZXT to the team, we've been able to get a lot more done, so we plan on a big update pretty soon with a bunch of screens. keep an eye out.

@Ayleid king:

This is actually a Statue, but I will definately model and animate new neverseen creatures for Skyrim. But I have more important works to do now on the landmass, so it will take some time until you see the first exemplar. Lestat is planning to make a first trailer in a few month, if I get it done you will see the first creature in there!!! :D

Hi Folks,

Skyrim is still growing even I don't post any new screens at the moment...I continued my work on Haafinheim and the Northshore the last weeks, but I have less time at the moment because of my job...I will have more sparetime in May...

I also plan the first Skyrimtrailer for summer 2009...we have a problem to find a server to upload our homepage "Skyrim - Home of the Nords".

I also plan a little pre-release for you guys and girls for summer: The Goblincave "Abe Regru" (originally located in The Reach of Skyrim)...You will find it on Solstheim...

Also here is a little introduction to the Mainquest and Storyline of Skyrim

...after the war between Ysgarmor and his 500 Warriors and the falmer seem to get lost, a powerful falmer mage had a vicious plan to take revenge on the hated nords...he changed his lifeform with help of some powerful demons and pupped himself in a coccoon to sleep for decades and ressurect as powerful Ice-Demon who is able to threat and destroy whole Tamriel and other parts of Nirn...at the end of the 3th Era his time has come... an old, dark order founded my that mage is gonna awake the demon...

This is my new Ice-Runner-Fae. They belong to my WIP "Faerie Realms", but will be also featured in "Skyrim for Tes3", so I have to post some screens here too. :D

Originating from the icy plains of "TheRift"/ Skyrim, these little guys are the most civilized of all faeries and some of those creatures even do some trading with the nords, who live there. Ice-Runner-Faes never kill other beings for no reason. They hunt beasts for food and making leather from the skins.

There is only one thing, you should never ever do and that is stepping into one of their icy underworld cities, without being invited. They are small and don't look very strong, but they are plain deadly. Why? - Try and find out!!! :nono:

These are my first semi-handmade textures. I know they are not of very good quality yet, but I'll try to improve my skills till this mod is released!!! The creatures will also have wings, but I got some problems with collision issues that need to be solved, before I add the wings to the creature!!!

Just read through all the posts, I love the pics. Sorry I can't help with modeling, but I'm learning to mix music and sound. Personally I believe the right music would be difficult to compose. I can almost hear the soft wind as you emerge from the woods looking out at snowbanks below a snowcapped cliff. There's a bird in the distant calm, but there's no telling how far off the way sound carries here.

In contrast I can hear a blizzards roar as you push through the biteing winds. You've long forgotten the pain of frost bite as your body grows increasingly knumb.

@ Lestat

I think you should use valitys skyrim map as it a much better reference to the whole province and its holds. I also can provide you with all the skyrim offical lore you want and the necessary knowledge you need for your team. I did notice some screens that had a mix of bloodmoon, ascadian isles, and west gash trees. Its probably just me but i dont think they really...whats the term.."blend" to well with what Skyrim is suppose to be. Skyrim is suppose to be a place where you have lush pine forests in the hold of eastmarch that lead to the more colder forests of Falkreath and the Rift. Then you have the tallest mountain in skyrim, The Throat of the World, where the sky breathed the first humans down, marking the start of the empire. Then you have more forests that lead all around winterhold, northshore, and parts into the Reach.

Idk its your mod and I am glad to help and cant wait to start my claim but I just wanted to point some of those things out.

Here is the link to valitys skyrim map

http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i201/Vality7/maps/Skyrim_Map.jpg

It is the best detailed map of skyrim I have seen so far. I know you said you are using TES 1 arena for the world creation but you should also take a look at this map too. It labels all the towns, cities, and the holds right to the dot.

I'm sure he knows about it, it was discussed earlier in the thread. It may be detailed but it's not lore accurate, and was never intended to be. It was a guide to my old small scale Skyrim mod, not a guide to Skyrim.

First of all the colours aren't meant to be an accurate representation of the climate, they're coloured based on altitude instead. Other than shape of the coastline, and the southern quarter of the heightmap, the rest of the terrain is all made up, I'm sure Skyrim would have a few more dozen big mountain ridges and rivers running through it at least. The towns and borders aren't accurate - they were placed based on the heightmap, several of the locations on there don't even exist in lore, and some that do aren't even in their correct places, and since I made that map I moved a lot of stuff around. It's how I wanted my old Skyrim mod to look, not how Skyrim should look or how I thought Skyrim should look. You're better off using the Arena map if you want a lore accurate map.
