Skyrim Forum Record

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 10:56 pm

The day before skyrim I believe the forum record for most people online at once was 4,000 something. Like all time Bethesda forum record! And that had just beat a record a week earlier. After skyrim came out the record now doubled from the previous one! It's 8,000. And I'm seeing all these new laymans and it makes me happy that skyrim is such a success. But my question is skyrim to take 100% credit for this new record? What do you guys think?

Cheers skyrim fans

Absolutely. Every new game in the series brings a huge influx of players. I was part of the wave that came with Morrowind, then I watched the wave that came in with Oblivion, and now (after a long hiatus) I'm seeing all the people coming because of Skyrim.

I did see a increase in guest on the forums in the year coming to NV. I just had no idea that ES was such a big game.
