So i just downloaded the game and wanted to start it up, however i get to the main menu but there is no skyrim logo or smoke, just the music and options for new game etc etc.

When i select an option the game just freezes, the music continues to play but nothing really happens.

Have not been able to play the game as of yet, no mods or anything downloaded, anybody know of a solution to this?

So i was able to start a new game, but when i start a new game it goes through that Beth software presents Skyrim but on a black screen, can hear dialogue of the people talking on the cart but just a black screen that says Skyrim on it. Haven't had this issue before with any other game on this computer.

If that does not help what the previous poster posted. Please do a dxdiag.exe and post the full report in spoiler tags if you are playing on a PC.

If on a console it would help to know which console and monitor you are using with it.
