They are probably saving that for E3. My guess is it's going to be huge, way up and way out.

What do you mean "way up and way out"?

Why is that?

Why would you want a level 4 unique bow, when it will be useless in a couple levels. Waiting until your a higher level to get an item you want is flawed.

So do we know who kills the blades, or who the main opposition will be? Besides the dragons of course.

At low levels
? Right hand: Drain Health 100pts for 1 second on Touch
? Left hand: ____ Damage ___ points for 1 second on Touch
Why? Most enemies will probably have less than 100 health, so the drain spell — which has traditionally been relatively cheap to use — will kill them instantly. Those that have more than 100 health will probably be taken down in 1-2 damage spells once you drain their health.

At mid levels
? Right hand: Paralyze for 1 second on Touch
? Left hand: ____ Damage ___ points for 1 second on Touch
Why? Paralyze for 1 second shouldn't cost too much Magicka for a mid-level mage, and if you just supplement a constant application of that with a decent damage spell, the enemy will go down without being able to touch you, and your willpower should be high enough to replenish your supply.

At high levels
? Right hand: Paralyze for 1 second on Touch + ____ Damage ___ points for 1 second on Touch
? Left hand: some uber spell just for fun.
Why? The right hand paralyze/damage combo is just a stronger variant of the mid-level spell combined into one spell. The left hand is redundant but it's nice to mix things up and show off your true power with a massive area of effect spell. (Feel free to substitute for Frenzy/Charm/Command/Summon to mix things up even more.)

Obviously I don't know how much they've changed the game from Oblivion, but unless they overhaul the Magic/Magicka system I think it may be pretty easy to play as a mage.

This shouldn't bother you, though. You are clearly one of the people against level scaling. Therefore, unique items should only be accessible at higher levels anyway due to their rarity and the difficulty in obtaining them. You can't have it both ways.

What are you talking about? I don't want leveled uniques. There is no "both ways" about that. They said they have don't have scaled leveling, but they didnt mention uniques. Unique are one of the few things that should be handled like they were in F3 and NV.

Exactly. Leveled weapons, armor, is fine, but not uniques. I don't care if you have to do a bunch of stuff to get them, or they make them hard to acquire at lower levels, just dont make them leveled.

And yet he was complaining that he should be able to get the unique items at any level he wants...but really, if it is an unique item, you shouldn't be able to get it low levels. I was simply saying that statement doesn't make much sense. I do completely agree that unique items should not be leveled; I would not dispute that.

Here's are some tidbits that may or may not have been posted by the time I get done here...Also an opinion or two! :)

Monsters/Animals/Enemies shown: DRAGONS! (and they all rock, the one flying looks AMAZING), Undead Warriors (remind me of Liches), Ice Wraiths, Bandits, wolves, Giants (impressive!), trolls (identical style to Oblivion), deer, spiders (fixed)

Races shown: all human/nordic in style and male except for one female (she's attractive believe it or not!), one Dunmer but it's from the rear and he's wearing a lot of armor...you can mostly just see his dark blue-grey arms. NO beast races shown but I heard they are still in. Can't wait to see the Argonians!

Armor shown: Very nordic and viking style shown. There is a metal helm with horns that curve down like this: http://www.wendytimm.com/images/Artwork%20pix/war-hornhelmet.jpg, the only differing armor looks very Elvish. Kinda dark brass color with a ton of detail. Battle-kilts confirmed :D lol. The Dunmer is wearing a leather style armor with one pauldrin on the left. Maybe pauldron slots are back?

Weapons shown: Dagger (embedded in the torso of the Dunmer!), a couple long steel swords, one handed bearded axe, a gold mace with 4 "blade" sides (reminds me of the Oblivion elvish one handed mace), Giants appear to carry around a stripped tree trunk lol!, possible one handed staff (glowing blue on top) which is held with a sword in the other hand, bow and quiver on back, one of the undead warrior lich seem to have a two handed axe, a possible elvish styled (glass?) sword that's faintly green.

Art style and Graphics: The game seems to go for realistic, darker then Oblivion but with plenty of color flourishes, and the scale seems much more appropriate. The Giant looks big, a dragon flying through the air looks spectacular (probably my favorite shot), and the cities/ruins don't seem to be all flat areas with buildings like previous games. The one notable feature is a really high cliff that goes higher then the top of the picture even and has waterfalls flowing down with what looks to be ruins mixed in and a newer city in front of it. There is a LOT more diversity then I expected here. We get everything from a beautifully autumn time forest full of color, to a green forest full of pine trees, to the snowy mountain peaks we would expect. The one building interior seems to show lighting on objects, a chair for example casts shadows on the bar behind it.

(I may need to edit this later, all typed in one straight sitting)

In theory you should be able to get them at any level, however in practical application, this should prove close to impossible due to highlevel mobs ect.

Well, my Breton in Oblivion is dead, unless I time-travel him, or play as his great-great-great-grandson.

I am MOST excited about the fact that archery will no longer be gimped. Hopefully no more pin-cushion enemies. A shot or two should do the job.

I'd say different body types are pretty much confirmed.

There's no way Bethesda would make every male in the game as jacked as the main character in those shots.

You can get uniques at any time you want in Fallout, dependent on skill of course. They just shouldn't be leveled, there was no contradiction in my statements. You should be able to get the unique at what ever level you can get it at, it just shouldn't be leveled. Make sense?
