Ok. I just called my local EB games store and they said they get GI magazine and its only $7. But they wont be getting the latest issue for a few weeks.

Still id like better quality than paper images on my computer, that I can share with freinds.

Also have to keep in mind they aren't sharing everything yet. They are no doubt holding out several omfg draw dropping features for premier at E3.

Obviously they haven't told us everything about the game... but to expect some amazing, "jaw dropping" features to be revealed (let alone several) that wasn't in the GI article is probably over optimistic. What we will learn between now and launch will likely be more details about the features we now know about, and other smaller features not covered in the GI article (mounts, houses, and factions for example).

I know its probably waaay too early to be asking this... but does anyone know if there will be a fan Q&A session before the game is released? I wasn't here pre-Oblivion so I don't know if that's the custom... and if so, how much longer do we have to wait!?

I know they did it for Fallout 3 (their other recent game) and I'm pretty sure they did it with Oblivion, so I'm pretty sure they'll do one with Skyrim. As for when, probably in a few months. I wouldn't expect it any earlier than June.

It's interesting how threads aren't being filled one every hour now that there is actually something to discuss! Two through eleven were all meaningless. ;)

idk about all of you but im praying to the nine divine that they make this game handle multiple cores on a cpu unlike there last releases.... i mean seriously they're going to have to if they have something as taxing as dynamic snow and flowing water.

The radiant story is really intriguing. If an npc is replaced with a family member does this mean that there is a never ending supply of spawned npcs?are npc's going to spawn in the world that normally wouldn't be there during normal exploration until someone is killed?

Not at all, E3 is the be all to end all. They will NOT be going there to regurgitate the same info they already released 6 months prior. Bethesda has a very good marketing department and they are saving a couple of goodies, maybe even the best stuff about the game for E3. Mark my words.

I completely agree with you. E3 should bring some goodies!

A lot of people make a big deal out of this... but honestly, few 1st person games do this at all. Actually, all I can think of that does that are the Halo series, and Mirrors Edge.

What leak? And they would have mentioned it in the GI article if it was taking place there in addition to SKyrim

An "ex developer" last august leaked a bunch of information on the new elderscrolls game before it was even announced and everything he's said has so far been completely true (new combat system, skyrim, in-house engine, etc)

One of the other things he mentioned was it also takes place in part of High Rock.

Who knows it could all be fake - but fact of the matter is this post has been accurate on everything revealed so far.

Now that you mention it, I do remember reading something like that. Pretty recently too. Maybe by part of High Rock he meant The Western Reach. Perhaps there is some sort of border conflict.

Huh, really? I can't believe I missed something like that. Do you know where I possibly may see this supposed leaked information, or is it taken down?

Hopefully with the hud being "gone" in a way, We'll no longer have an arrow pointing out our quest objective.

I've tried, but it's really hard now with all the "real" information.

At first I hated the idea of no classes. But then I always made a custom-class anyway. You will still be able to do anything you want and I am guessing you will level faster since those "other" things you do won't be relegated as secondary skills.

Still, I'm somewhat concerned about this.

The graphics look incredible.

The art direction is bada$$! Like a mixture of Conan & Demon's Souls which is very appropriate for the cold north.

I'm also concerned about quests. If there are static quests and radiant quests then cool. But if all quests are dictated to you by radient AI, I think it is actually limiting rather than liberating.

Dual-wielding is awesome and I'm sure the combat will be even better.

In the article Todd mentions that many quests, including the main quest and faction quests, will be static.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic did also. And it looks like Duke Nukem Forever will, too. It does add a nice feel when you can look at your body, and when you're thrown around being able to see your arms and legs flailing (unlike Oblivion, where it would annoyingly push you out into 3rd person).
