He's asking about the cover of the magazine. Apparently there is supposed to be some kind of 3D effect to make it look really cool.

The one pic with the skills listed looks like something is wrong. Destruction is highlighted and it says the skill is at 56 and the bar underneath is slightly more than half full which makes sense. Next to it is the restoration skill that's at a 24 but that bar is halfway full? How can that be? Enchanting is at a 27 and the bar is barely filled at all? Do all the skills not go to 100 or in the case of enchanting over 100? If the skill is at a 27 already and the bar is barely filled that makes no sense because right next to it is alteration which is halfway full and its at a 21????

I thought they said it would have a UV Spot Gloss on it?

UV Spot glossing isn't a 3D effect. Its like having a portion of the magazine shiny, so when you look at it from one angle you can see see it well and from another you don't see it at all(unless its also printed in regular inks). If you know the magazine ImagineFX, they do this so they can have full cover art without the title covering the art, unless you look at the right angle.

EDIT: Ok I think I remember, they said the metallic parts would have a UV Spot, so those portions of the magazine should be "shiny" while the rest is matte.

The bars are probably the progress towards the next level of that skill. Like the Destruction skill is halfway between 56 and 57, Restoration is halfway between 24 and 25, and Enchanting just got to level 27.

I think this all sounds awesome. And the one thing I'm most excited about is the new crafting features! It's the only thing I've thought TES have missed, so this is very, very good news for me!

I can't wait to mess with crafting...Its going to be so amazing.

and after I get done with all the factions, random quests might still be fun to play

Also the Enchanting is back, which is amazing!

And think, all we know is the main quest and SOME gameplay aspects...I can't wait to hear more!

Enchanting is back? Wasn't it in oblivion?
Can someone tell me where in the article it mentions woodcutting and crafting I can't find it? I also don't see the screen with the guard and the dog?

There's not going to be a focus on third person. Are they making it more viable? Likely. But The Elder Scrolls have always been meant to be played first person, and I doubt that would change.

Vanishing hud is an immersion effect. When there's no reason for it to be there, it's gone. Adds to the immersion of seeing what your character sees. But I highly doubt Beth will change 4 games worth of experience.

Then again, who knows?

It's at the top of the page with the header "Relates Well With Others."

There's a pic with two screens. The top is of the pc looking up at a dragon flying in the sky and it seems to be in a snowy mountain area. The pic on the bottom I can't make out though. It looks like whatever it is is on stairs and it looks like a magic spell has been cast or something because there's an orange glow. Anyone know what this screen is?

Given how the game is portrayed and how much animations are supposedly improved, that is what I meant. There's more of a focus on good playability in third person. Or the screens are just for show. At any rate, that would only be one little thingie. ^_^

The bottom pic is actually half of a full pic that spans both pages. It's of the guy with the horned helmet fighting a dragon, and the part you see is the dragon breathing fire at the guy.

It's a [censored] dragon.

Thanks for the reply. The screen on the interface page is that a statue or a person?

No health bar, magicka bar, stamina bar, compass, minimap, etc. All you see is the gameworld.

Aw. That was one of the things I hated about Fable III.
