I hate to say it, but the more I learn, the less excited I am about Skyrim. No Daedra, civil war, and dragons? Sounds pretty boring, I've been there done that with Bioware. I'm hoping there's a plot twist in there some where to spice it up a bit, I mean it's ES so it won't be a bad game, just was hoping for something a little deeper.
We already got enough Daedra in Oblivion. As for Daedric Princes, I believe they are still in Skyrim. Dragons, it has been part of TES lore for a long time, and I am excited to see what's up with Alduin this time and what are the reasons for the Dragon's invasion.. Civil wars, it's a good thing, hopefully political intrigue will be involved like in Morrowind.
I think there will be enough deep if Bethesda decides to explore Alduin as being an alter-ego to Akatosh rather than just another crazy god wanting to destroy the world.
Civil wars are always a good concept in RPGs, the faction wars in FNV was incredible, the whole intrigue between Caesar's Legion, NCR and Mr. House spiced up the game real good.
The Dragons are definately going to far more interesting, they are smart beings, they have their own reasons and motives for invading Skyrim, and that's one of the mysteries we are going to solve in Skyrim.
