Skyrim Game Informer Thread XVIII

Yeah you bring up good points, I hope the Daedra are in the game though, just not spewing out all over the place. Also I hope the character creation is not consoled down too much, it's my favorite aspect of RPG's.

Wait until you see how the faces and bodies are looking based on the screenshots. Incredibly beautiful crafted models and faces, and also the character creation is deeper than Oblivion's, allowing you to modify body features, facial structure and there is also a bigger distinction between races.

Also we have beards and it's likely that there will be a lot of haircuts and even stuff like scars or tattoos.

If they just add a few abandoned Daedric Temples here and there (possibly inside caves  ) like in Morrowind, it'll more than suffice.

Dragons will always be cliche and they will always be used, time and again. They're just the most popular creatures for pop-mythology :spotted owl: .

Cliche is trite. A well-used Dragon is never a cliche. Which means they could be, or could not be, wholly based on the skill of the writers and designers crafting them. If they imitate Dragons from actual mythology, like Fafnir and Nidhogg just to name some Norse ones, then they will likely be a facinating and overwhelming personality.

I went over the video again, and I know this has probably been discussed, but on the whiteboard where Todd says they meet and discuss their ideas, it looks like they are trying to improve stealth. They are listening :D. Also, it looks like gold might auto loot to you when you open a chest or search a person. Sounds good because if there is gold in a chest, why wouldn't you take it? Don't care how rich you are, if you were a millionaire would you pass up a 20 on the side of the road? don't think so :P

Yeah, but not that much. :) I kinda have my tent in the Skyrim section these days, and I only got that yesterday.

Suits me. ^_^ Started with Morrowind, so it's kinda traditional for me.

I hate to say it, but the more I learn, the less excited I am about Skyrim. No Daedra, civil war, and dragons? Sounds pretty boring, I've been there done that with Bioware. I'm hoping there's a plot twist in there some where to spice it up a bit, I mean it's ES so it won't be a bad game, just was hoping for something a little deeper.

if you dont like the ideas behind it, dont buy it, but plz guys if you just gonna make remarks about how down you are, or how bummed, then just dont remark at all, negativity is catching ( scientifically proven fact, takes like 10 positives to overcome 1 negative statement)

My mom receives hers a month later than me and we live in the same city, I don't know why they do that.
