Is Skyrim going to be cheapened for the PS3 to work for the : V

My question is simple and I believe important. Is Skyrim going to be cheapened for the PS3 to work for the 360? I don't mind Skyrim being PS3 exclusive.

The exclusive part is not the issue, the main question is, will bethesda make the game all if can be to the limits of each system, or will it stop at the max of one?

I bet it will be amazing for a PC and I really hope it isn't, unfortunately I couldn't afford the cost for a PC to run it effectively. I am however planning a PS 3 (since my 360 just died) to play Skyrim. Everyone knows the PS3 has much more potential than the 360, so I really hope bethesda uses the most of it. From what I can see Skyrim should be everything I've been hoping for from a game of this type.

That's a new one. PC elitists are constantly complaining how games are being "dumbed down for consoles" or the cute "consolitis" term, but this guy is apparently worried that the PS3 version is dumbed down for XBox?

Actually i have seen this before with Final Fantasy XIII.

I don't think they would make it a PS3 exclusive considering that the elder scrolls games have always been on the PC and Morrowind and Oblivion were both for the Microsoft xbox consoles, and Morrowind was just for the Xbox not for the PS2, and oblivion was released for the Xbox 360 before it was released for the PS3

Yes and no.

They will do what they did for oblivion no doubt.....where the settings are slgihtly better on the PS3 version over the Xbox version. And in that case, the PC users can also set the settings even higher then that.

There will be some sacrifice, but the PS3 version should still look a little better because it has superior hardware and can handle slightly high graphics settings.

First of all xbox 360 and ps3 are very similar minus the blu ray player for ps3 thats it. pc is what has the real advantage. i prefer pc but if i had to chose a console xbox 360 is where its at. way better controllers and a blu ray player makes no difference because i don't watch anything on my xbox
