Sadly, it was left up to the community to fix all of the remaining bugs which after years of work has become a must-have for all Oblivion PC players, the unofficial Oblivion patch (Found here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296)
Now maybe it's just me but ceasing to provide patch support for the game when there was still 1,800 bugs left seems like a bit of a slimy move if you ask me..
But then they go on to release the Shivering isles expansion pack and all of the DLC for the game, which once again sadly was left full of a vast amount of bugs when they decided to stop releasing patches for it, once again it was left up to the community to patch all of these things and after years of work they were fixed with the Unofficial Oblivion Shivering isles patch and the Unofficial Oblivion mods patch.
Now mayyyybeee it's just me but it seems a bit slack to stop releasing patches for your game when it has over 1,800 bugs left unsolved and leaving it up to the community to fix these things.
Is Skyrim going to be the same or will it have real patch support this time around?
