While some might consider this borderline trolling, I think the OP has a point. Oblivion was greatly simplified, an designed with the express purpose of creating a game that the... umm... less intelligent... could get into. I'm hoping that Skyrim doesn't continue down the "mainstreaming" path. I remember being excited about Oblivion, and even pre-ordered it. That will not be happening this time. I am finding myself extremely immune to any of Bethesda's attempts at generating hype - instead I will be reading these forums at release time and making a decision to buy then.

I just want to say one tiny thing about this "rant" if you will...

Bethesda, the beings that create holy RPG games, had put their time and effort into these games since Arena. Do you like being rude to those that see the fans as "little helpers", if you will, instead of them seeing you
as trash (nothing to be bothered with)?
I would say that you must apologize to yourself and the peoples in this awesome forum before you expect us to critisize an awesome game that is not even out yet.

Seriously, you people who have played Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion, Don′t you think that Skyrim is going to be too easy, system is nit so good, and only thing that makes Skyrim to be worth of buying is awesome graphics and the reason that it′s part of TES-series anyway?
