Skyrim hardcoe Mode?

Yes, but i wish they'd adapt it to timescale 1 also this time.
( in NV, sleeping for 4 hours at timescale=1 would kill you of hunger and dehydration)

Meh, that just sounds irritating. Hey look, to get the rest I need I need to sleep 2 hours, wake up eat, sleep 2 hours, wake up eat, sleep 2 hours, wake up eat.... and then, sleep the final 2, wake up eat, kill a mob, eat... and so on.

Go based off of a real life timeline. A day without food, your fine, 2 days, fine. 3 days, you start suffering from reduced stamina and strength, but really you could push it a week if not 2. Water, 3 days but count certain food a little bit in the water. (most meats and fruits and veggies have water content to them.) For sleep, a day, maybe 2 and you're still fine minus a little issue with stamina. After that have it reduce all your stats dramatically, and quickly, heck throw in hallucinations and we're set. Haven't slept all week? The whole town may appear to made up of draemora....

I'm all in for it. Would definitely fit the rough and tough feeling of Skyrim, as well as how you now can cook and everything. Some bad feelings tell me though that this isn't going to happen.

The main thing I liked about NV hardcoe was the heal over time stimpak and how it gave ammo weight. The rest didn't particularly improve the game. With fast travel there was no real added risk, just tedium of keeping water/food in your inventory and occasionally eating/drinking/sleeping.

If they could find a way to make it more consequential I wouldn't be opposed, but if all it's going to do is add extra inventory management I'll pass - I'm fine assuming when my character rests he eats.

If it is anything like New Vegas than HELL NO!

If they do it reallly well (like the cold affects you etc) then I am all for it. If it is just a bunch of random chores you have to keep doing then NO!

Some may ask why not make it optional. Here is why.......even though the mode may be optional it spams too much health and other things in the game. This was the case with NV. There was so much freaking food, water and health everywhere the game became super easy unless you used hardcoe mode.

I am all for it as long as there are not any daily chores attached to it.

Maybe that could be fixed with the way the items are placed in the game. They could randomize the things you would need for hardcoe and change how much spawns for each difficulty.

No, the hardcoe mode in FNV was a complete waste, it was a few minor inconveniences.

That weren't even inconvenient, no less. I always played with it on, not "for teh immershunz" (because it didn't really add any) but because it was so utterly ignorable and non-intrusive, why the hell not?

That said...don't care if one's included or not but if it is, make it optional- then use the fact that it's optional to ignore those who hate it and make it worthy of the name.

Yes having hardcoe option will save features thats otherwise will be removed from game just because some newcomers cannot read logical descriptions and names, like Birthsigns, having no of any traits at beginning besides of race make game dull I don't want such overprotection in cost of features and I believe I'm not alone who think in such way, game must provide challenge out of box not after over 200 mods.

IMO, this is how it should default. But I'm more of an old school gamer.
