Skyrim "hardcoe Survival" mod?

Post » Wed Nov 20, 2013 12:00 am

I'm sorry if this has been posted to death. It's my first time in the mods section of this forum.

I'm just wondering if they have come out with a Skyrim mod that is similar to Fallout: New Vegas' "hardcoe mode" where you have to monitor a level of sleeping, food intake, and drink consumption?

If there is one, what is it called?

If there isn't one, is anyone working on it currently?

If one cannot be made, are there any mods that give you a more "realistic" and "survival" feeling to your game play?

PS, I'm brand new to mods. Do I download them from Steam? I really don't know how that all works.

I think I might have found one called "Frostfall" I don't know anything about it. Looking at it on YouTube right now.

If frostfall is my answer, you can close this topic, mods.

Depends how hardcoe you mean. Frostfall is pretty much the mod to go to for cold and wet and the such. For eat, sleep mods there are a few. The most hardocre is probably Imps more complex needs.

I'm looking for frostfall and I can't seem to find where to download it.

What is "Imps more complex needs" ?

*EDIT* I found Imps more complex needs but I can't seem to download it. Or should I say I don't know how.

Your best bets for hardcoe survival are mods like

Frostfall - adds hypothermia and camping abilities.

Realistic needs and diseases - adds saturation, dehydration, fatigue and an array of diseases that have real effects on the player.

You could add skytweak as well high I believe has several variables you can change in the mcm to make things harder.

Btw Frostfall and Realistic needs are not really hardcoe mods in my opinion. They add the elements of survival without making the game tedious.
