It didn't give me one. I left the record button on and it just showed me as off the carriage. Also, not that noticeable even with the rain drops.

yeah.. I kept the record button on because I could have SWORN there was a getting off animation but it just had me standing in Dawnstar with no animation for it :\

You can climb on the wagon without hiring it and you can get off then...
