I vote yes, though this new iteration of the Gamebryo engine may scare me, they probably have improved it by leaps and bounds, so I'm willing to put my faith in Bethesda for making great textures and pushing graphical capabilities to the max. I bet the environments will be beautiful and vast.

No there aren't.

We can't really answer this question since we haven't even seen screenshots or gameplay yet.

I voted for Yes, but it was not my whole vote.

As for landscape and environment graphics, it would be on the top with some few other select games.

As for faces and character details, it would edge on ugly.

As for animation, hopefully it would be good, but not the best.

As for items, I think it would be good but again not the best.

On the whole, after the character face lifting mods, and some re-textures, it would be nearly the best looking game of its time, but would have some flaws here and there.

So it would be a mixed thing.

TES always has a knack for being beautiful, in a poorly optimized way.

I voted yes because I am a really devoted fan :]

No offense, but this thread makes absolutely no sense, considering no one has ever seen the graphics...

For the confused; this is a speculative thread worded in the wrong tense.

This is not really true.maybe we haven't seen the graphics yet, but the past interviews with gamesas about their new project, at this time we didn't know it will be elderscrolls, sounded very promising!!!!!!!!

I don't think it will have the best graphics I've ever seen. Smaller contained level based games usually have better graphics than large open game worlds.

Skyrim best on 2011? i hope so :)

Frankly I don't care. Oblivion's graphics were a step back from Morrowind's away. Too cartoony. I'd rather they focused on giving Skyrim excellent gameplay rather than making it all shiny-shiny.

I don't really think the graphics will be the "best" i've ever seen, but who cares! At least we have TES V!

I suspect it will look a lot like Oblivion. I don't think it'd kill them to make underwater stuff look a little better one of these days Oblivion when you went underwater it looked exactly the same as in Elder Scrolls III.

My guess is no because my assumption is they will build it from the Xbox360 and PS3 graphical levels. If you look (http://img816.imageshack.us/img816/6584/twoworlds2o.jpg) at Two Worlds II you can see a game where the developers didn't care about inferior graphics for the consoles and just went ahead and gave the PC the newest and best. Hopefully Bethesda will follow suit and give each platform the utmost care it needs, along with a much much needed psychics upgrade in the engine.

When I got out of the sewers the first time it was night time and it was the most blown away I'd been by the 360's graphics. The sky was perfect matched with the music. I have high hopes for another great environment this time around.

Where's the "I dunno lol" option? XD Really, we should wait with this until we've seen some, you know, gameplay.

Well, as far as the trailer itself goes, I was impressed. Mind you, I did not know my arthritic screen could sprout that.

As far as the game will go... Landscape where you don't even play, but as far as I'm concerned anyway, just walk about in going ahhh oooh, with OMGThehorror NPC faces ? :P Unless some serious reckoning happens, I guess that's what we'll have.
