I like the tomb, it captures the Nordic feel nicely, while looking more primitive than the one's found on solstheim.
You could make the lighting more intense, and the area darker.
@Muspila:
From the PGttE:
Nords are masters of wood and timber construction; many structures survive in use today that were built by the first settlers over 3,000 years ago.
And also according to the PGttE:
Solitude, is one of the richest and most influential counties in Skyrim.
A richer and most likely more imperialised area may use more modern stone construction. However the older areas of town would probably be wooden.
So maybe have the more important, ancestral buildings in town made from wood, and the other things like common houses and shops from stone. :shrug:
I say take the beams off of the model and leave them as stone buildings, it distinguishes the town from the more isolated towns of skyrim.
You could replace some buildings with nice wooden ones though.
Temples could be wooden buildings, something unique would be nice, maybe an embellished wooden shrine to Shor?
