Blender v2.49.

How did you get the nif importer/exporter to work? I can't blender to recognize that I have pyFFi 2.0.0 installed for the nif scripts to work so I just downgraded to 2.4.8.

Meh. Blender is buggy as hell. You just get lucky. My blender won't recognize that my drivers are updated so I have to guess when i'm box selecting and i can't see the connecting lines in nodes editor and such. I'm going to go google my ass off in hopes of finding a solution.

I haven't yet had any problems with my blender, so I respectfully disagree that Blender is "buggy as hell", I haven't experience any bugs myself, so it can't be buggy with no bugs right? ;)

PS: Judging by the fact that your signature says "graphic coming soon", I'd say you want an image there, well don't get your hopes up or work too hard, you can't have siggy graphics on this forum.

Has anybody outthere a suggestion how a falmer ruin exterior could look alike? I wanna make models the next weeks but have not really a idea how the should look. Any drawings (even bad drawings) would be great.

I think that the exteriors should look almost like the ayleid but a bit icy in appearance. The ruins could be made totally out of ice from some ancient magick or something heh just posting ideas.

I agree, I think that they should be made by semitrasparent ice

I guess Ayleid Style is a good idea...I'll take a look on the Oblivion meshes and than rebuild them from scratch.

I agree maybe ayleid style and made of ice, but also weathered or cracked up looking cause it is ice and it can't stand up to all the elements.

I'm done with modding, but I promised Lestat to help him with Skyrim and I'm not the person to leave friends alone!!!

Well I've been looking for a great way to texture the goblets made out of ice and I think I found something that kind of suits them. Please crit. I wasn't sure if you guys would like it.

If you can't see it then have someone put it on pic.leech. I don't have an account there yet.

Wow! that looks too good. :goodjob: Though the textures don't really look like ice or you could add some transparency to it.

I used a different method to get an even better resolution. This is insane. I just played with the col and normals and got this while adding a cloud texture. It's simple, reflective, and very nice ;).

Btw: This is a method that was suggested to me by organic from another forum. ;)

This is my last attempt at making a more realistic ice texture and I'm going to let you guys choose what would be more appropriate. But so far this one is my favorite and I hope you guys like it. ;).

I'm so sorry. Me being a retard I posted the wrong image. So here you go with the final image that I think might be great. I was also thinking about making each of the goblets different by giving each of them one of my three textures making them different and making the quest and everything more immersive instead of being pulled out of it by seeing the same ice goblet, just a different shape. I always hated seeing reused textures where they shouldn't be ;).

Lestat, before working your butt off making the Ayleid set, you should know Rhymer and I are making an Ayleid set for Province: Cyrodiil, I've made most of the stuff so far, because Rhymer's a bit busy with RL for a while, but if you need the stuff when we're done you can have it, I don't want you to end up with the massive workload I did then not have to do it later. ;)

Thanks mate, I could really need it, cause I also wanna do 2 or 3 ancient city ruins of the falmer...

If you need some new nordic house models for villages near the border just PM, you can have it.
