That ice goblet and the statues are gorgeous. I think these falmer ruins might be the shiniest places to be found in the game, mods or no! Hopefully they'll still be dark inside though.

Hi Guys,

here are a few exterior screens for you.

They show you the surrounding area and the inner yard of Vestar Castle (Ruin) in Haafinheim Forest. The Pics are a good example for Haafinheim Forest looking after his overhaul I've started 3 month ago and it's still not finished...

http://pic.leech.it/pic.php?id=080545a0vestar01.jpg
http://pic.leech.it/pic.php?id=ee1e489vestar02.jpg
http://pic.leech.it/pic.php?id=340d830vestar03.jpg

I could post many more screenies. but I'm tired posting screenshot whitout getting a comment...to only comment to my exterior screens the last time was from the guy who told me that my exteriors are crap and made on newbie stage and he as a right on his opinion cause even a bad comment is better than NO comment.

NO comment means NO interest.

Sorry, I've had to say those words, cause it makes me angry sometimes.

Cheers

Lestat

I think the screens look good, and it looks very detailed and interesting. Would it be possible to add a bit more rubble, as it is a ruin, otherwise very nice :goodjob:

There is more rubble at the broken pieces, you just can't see it on the screens...also the destruction of the castle goes back to the 2nd era of Tamriel...you could read more about this and "mad" Vestar in 5 or 6 books, also in the "Ysgarmor Chronicles" when he says something about a very "special" one of his 500 warriors: Vestar...a mad guy, who was really cruel and sadistic.

More about this later

The pics look very cool, but if I were you, I wouldn?t get upset about not having enough comments. I?m sure there are a lot of ppl who would love to play your mod, but there were a lot of pictures you and LazyGhost and TheDaywalker have put up in this thread and for me it?s just stupid to say every time: nice, cool, keep it going. I think the pics are great, but congratulations on every new picture? Plus, some of them are not too different from previous ones that were posted.

I love this project, and it?s cool that you?re making good progress! Even if I?m not posting, it doesn?t mean I?ve suddenly lost interest. And I think that?s true for most ppl here. Just look on the massive amount of downloads that TR got, there?s a lot of interest in the "Rebuilding Tamriel-Department". :)

Coleman is right, you're doing awesome work, don't get upset about no comments.
If you want some constructive criticism, then all I can really think of is lose the giant head statue on this: http://pic.leech.it/i/edfdf/e71fb40034x.jpg

It doesn't fit with elven architecture imo.
Also don't go too overboard with the polys, not even because of peformance, but because it makes them stand out like a sore thumb (though it isn't too bad if you just add a high poly item here and there).
Just my opinion though, feel free to ignore it. Great work btw :)

I agree with Coleman. I think that the world that you guys are creating is absolutely stunning & I am *VERY* anxious to play this when you are done with it (and I'm even thinking about volunteering for an interior claim or three), but I didn't want to spam your thread with Oooh's, Aaah's & Ohhh's every other day...

This is one of the mods I'm looking forward to most (perhaps because I'm a Swede and fascinated by Scandinavian mythology). I love everything that has been posted lately - Lestat's ruins, Kvothe's Ice Goblet and TheDaywalkers models. Awesome stuff. :mohawk:

Dongle's Nordic Halls (on ElricM) come with both interior and exterior meshes. Only other Nordic-influenced ones I know of are retextures of exterior pieces only.

Thanks Dragon32,

but I guess he means some nordic furniture resource, cause those nordic halls interiors are allready included in the working file. I don't know if any nordic furniture resource exist, I havn't heard that there is one...but I could be wrong.

A few new Ingame Screens from Haafinheim Forest

Performance works well, but if using MGE it is necessary to reduce distant land view distance to 5 (for example), otherwise the performance is horrible even with a gamer PC, cause MGE have to render 400%-500% more objects than in Vanilla Morrowind

I have to admit that I had my doubts about this mod. There have been a bunch of attempts to make Skyrim/Nord stuff over the years, and none of them panned out.

But those pictures of the forest have made me a convert. That is the first forest I've seen in Morrowind that actually looks like a forest. Excellent work. I'll really look forward to playing that.

Score! finally a forest that you can actually get properly lost in and can't look straight from one side to the other. Can't wait to get lost lol :D:D

http://pic.leech.it/pic.php?id=8a8f4af3sky06.jpg <- Are those a retex? Very pretty esp the really cute one on the left.

http://pic.leech.it/pic.php?id=2ed4b6cdsky02.jpg <- Bandits! I guess you could use the tree cover to skirt round them, its thick enough lol :P

I guess it is time to bite the bullet and buy a better desktop to play morrowind, I never thought I would see the day when I NEED to buy new hardware for a game this old :)

Looking good. The forest looks very dense and wild.
