I've always loved the idea of housing, but I'd actually rather BUILD my own home... sorta. In Morrowind, I lived on a SHIP! :D LOVED IT! I lived on the Grytewake near Hla Oad and made it MY OWN! :) Even put lanterns everywhere so I could find it easily at night. I even put one at the very top of the mast. XD

My brother took a guys house in Caldera and made it his own awhile back.

One thing I didn't like about Oblivion was that I could never get a house until way late in the game.

I think housing was developed in Skyrim for us to fast travel to. I mean that was probably a part of the general idea.

 I remember doing that in Morrowind. I would search high and low for every lantern I could steal and put them along the walls of my estate and along the path leading to it.

I thinking having a beat-up house in the middle of nowhere would be awesome, cause you can make it a nice quiet place to go when you need a break from adventuring.

you can buy a house in oblivion once you get 1000 gold... so within an hour of starting a new file

I think thats the price of the shack in the waterfront district

Id like to be able to move furniture around, personally. Doesnt really feel like home if its a pre-arranged IKEA cut out.

I'd love to be able to build more to my home... that's like what I dreamed of for housing on this next game... I love owning houses... but I would love to make it my own... they keep talking about having your character be your own... but I need my home to be my own as well...

I hope the housing thing gets really deep and customizable

It would be really awesome if Skyrim basically had The Sims engine installed in it for houses , and you like just make your own place 100% custom. (But still be able to buy pre-mades)

I would love to be able to buy a house out in the middle of no where or as a reward for a quest you are given some land by a jarl on witch you can build a castle/house what every by hiring peaple to build it for you and depending how much you invest the better it gets

I'm hoping Bethesda has pulled out all the stops and added a few OB mods to housing in Skyrim. Working weapon racks and some decorator functionality within owned homes would be a dream come true. Imagine the ability to customize the interior piece by piece, build furniture and arrange it any way you wish. <---That's a tall order I know, because of pathing it's most likely just a pipe dream.

I just want houses to be a lot more unique compared to Oblivion.

So you can choose more aspects of them.

I do hope we can still buy a lot of them because I like being able to drop off loot at one of my houses instead of having to travel somewhere else to do that.
