Skyrim isn't as good as i thought

It's pretty much what I expected. The only thing which really caught me by surprise is how short the faction questlines are.

This is the case for me as well. I expected the faction missions to last longer than they did.

This may be the first TES game that didn't wow me with it's graphics but generally I feel quite pleased with Skyrim.

yah, scale your difficulty up.

You can't complain about the game being to easy when you haven't even tried the harder difficulties. Some games they don't make much difference, or just turn AI into super aware super accurate headshot bots.... but that's not the case here.

Master difficulty WILL kick your bum.... You should try Expert though... just a step up and should make a significant change to dragon/boss fights.

Personally I'm lovin skyrim. Fantastic RPG. Not unnecessarily complicated, great atmosphere, stunning graphics (considering the hardware), and both allows you to totally explore the vast world on your own or lets you follow the cookie trail main story quest if you want a shorter game.

Skyrim is what you make it.

So if you want a bigger challenge... make it more challenging ;)

Master difficulty will kick your bum? I don't know about you but myself and many others have voiced that even on Masters difficulty the game is simply too easy. All I did was make a suit of dragon armor and a daedric greatsword, I didn't even use enchanting with it and I still don't even come close to dying. Doesn't help that Nords are 50% resistant to cold

Short quest lines are not a bad thing - as long as the quality of the story they tell is on par with the Elder Scrolls Quality.

Just depends on the reward at the end of it. Dark Brotherhood quest line in Oblivion was really really long but the story and reward was good enough to see it through, still could have been shorter for a more punchier impact.

Thirded. I love the game, but faction quests are disappointing. I'm hoping future DLC fixes that.

Thank God, they don't make games only for you or I'd never be able to play anything again. I'm sorry its not hard for you but glad its just right for me.

I'll admit I was expecting a lot more from this game. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game. But I was really hyped for this game, couldn't wait, and now I feel like that 50% of the hype was for nothing. Honestly, I feel like if this was my first Elder Scrolls game (Which it isn't), I would've enjoyed it much more.

Coming from playing Age of Conan and seeing what they did as far as graphics go, I expected better graphics than what Skyrim offers, but other than that it is about what I had hoped for in a single player.

I just go into roleplay mode and the game is very fun. I complain about the magic system often but fortunately I am on a PC and have a mod to fix magic for now so thats fine. Maybe its because I am scandinavian but the Skyrim region has really drawn me in like no other has. I think with all TES games you really need to use a bit of roleplay and not just click your way thru the game.

There's some valid criticism in there, for me though, even with the things that bother me, it's still one of the best games I ever played. I'm more than 120 hours in it and there's still a lot of entertainment for me to squeeze out of it. Not even mentioning the mods starting somewhere in January.

I expected more advancement on the shallow, shallow quest-lines and more interaction with the world.

I got a prettier game. It's fun but it's not really an advancement of the series in my mind.
