AwesomeDave, you take all this stuff waaaaaaaaay too serious. Does another game pipping the game you're currently playing in some random poll curb your enjoyment in any way or form? I'll hazard a guess and say it does for some bizarre reason.

No, because frankly I don't care. I'll enjoy this game even if it doesn't have a GOTY tag on it. And it's not like that was the only site handing it out.

EA makes a bundle off FIFA and Sims games. Simple and stupid games designed for weekend players and the mentally [censored].

I truly hope the big players don't start taking example from EA and start releasing [censored]tastic games that are easy to make and easy to get profit off of, and seem to have a pretty large fan base.

I'm sitting here fuming that the game i spent ￡40 on was beaten in some interweb poll by a game others spent ￡40 on. I really needed Skyrim to win this outright as i now have no way of feeling my purchase makes me superior to all others whom purchased other titles. 'Tis a sad day indeed

I tried to vote but G4 isn't friendly to me. I couldn't log in nor could I vote. I think it wanted me not to vote for Skyrim or something. It's kind of biased though, I never played Zelda so how am I supposed to vote for Skyrim without comparison? I know I'd probably like Skyrim more I guess.

I wouldn't ever be surprised that Skyrim didn't win in this vote.. When Dark Souls loses to Gears of War 3 we know their is an issue..

Wow, what a terrible site. If they think that Zelda is GOTY over Skyrim, then they must be crazy because Skyrim destroys Skyward Sword. Heck Skyward sword has a gamebreaking bug, worse then anything I've heard about in Skyrim.

I doubt Beth bothered much about that poll. They will already be ecstatic with the sales figures and profit margin I`m sure.
