Bugs and glitches happen when you have a game with as much content crammed into it as Skyrim, on as many platforms.
Considering Zelda is almost entirely linear, with next to no open-world exploration, and is only on one platform, it is OBVIOUSLY going to have fewer bugs. That's just common sense.
The true power of Zelda is that it wields nostalgia like a warhammer. TES relies on a massive amount of content. As a consequence, it takes longer to make them, they're buggier, and it costs Bethesda more to make them.
Edit: That said, I did enjoy Twilight Princess. It was generally pretty fun, and had some good boss fights. But it, and any other Zelda game, will never be in the league of TES.
You want to talk about content go back 2 generations of the TES series and play them then you would see how much "missing" content TES has taken away to it's current "Skyrim".
Quality of a game is no excuse because of the amount of any content in the game. Bethesda also has many years of experience with the TES games and yet it seems to be a new day for them every release day. Riddled with bugs and graphical glitches etc. Quality is something I would much rather have even if it meant waiting a whole entire year for them to release a game that played well. I know Zelda games are good entertainment and provide a more fun factor for me than Skyrim's short quest and repetitive gameplay quest. Change a few NPC around and call it a different faction and it is the same thing over and over. Change gates to dragons and it is the same thing. Skyrim did nothing new. It is Oblivion 2 and a rehash of the same engine and same problems. Old engine, old problems. There is no nostalgia other then I just enjoy Zelda games.I could easily say the samething about TES and nostalgia which is how I am sure Skyrim sold so much more then Zelda plus the amount of advertising that had to have been invested. I love TES games, but as far as quality that is a problem in their games. Skyrim is also leaned towards the arcade RPG. It is only appealing to those who enjoy short quest, very low attention spans, SKyrim is nothing but a arcade RPG now. Very basic and no up keep whatsoever. Zelda has a more in depth story then any TES game I have every played.
I really don't care who wins. There both good games. Just putting my opinion in like everyone else. THis is just what I think about the two. Quality game is all I want. I don't enjoying having to wait several weeks for a game to be playable to being able to enjoy it. I don't like having to worry about running into problems that pull me away from being involved.
