Hey guys, I'm currently doing the Mage College quest in which you go to Saarthal. I've ran through it twice (had a save at the beginning, so I've done it twice, it's newly generated each time as it's chest contents etc. were different) but every single time the boss at the end is invincible. When I drain him of his health, he goes down into the kneeling animation and I can't hurt him, then he gets back up, and every time I drain him of health after that one time, he just stands there and then regenerates and attacks me. Can anyone help ?

EDIT: I've been told that he drops a Gauldar Amulet Fragment when he dies. I cheated to get all the Gauldar Amulet Fragment's earlier in the game (I went to the all items room). Could this mean I can't kill him?

I tried to kill it using console commands, targeted it and everything (done it incorrectly last time) and typed kill, it just went to the kneeling animation, regened his health (while still kneeling) I took his health down, then he stood up, was ice-y, then he just stood there for 15 seconds, then started to attack as normal with full health.

What the..?

Also, he isn't essential, I checked.

Did you have Tolfdir with you and only attack the boss when Tolfdir said to, like when Tolfdir was fiddling with the glowey giant ball?

The boss IS invincible otherwise.

You are not supposed to get the other amulet parts until you get the first part from killing the drauger lord and start the quest to retrieve the extra parts. So I'm guessing you have broke the quest line. :confused:

So what can I do..?
