It does, doesn't it?

Apparently Solitude's name in Nordic is Haafingar. Maybe that's it? Then again, the Hold on the southeastern bank also seems to start with an H.

Hm? The Southeast hold is definitely the Rift. What are you reffering to?

Looking at this http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/509/skyrimholds.jpg, has anyone deciphered the "S.... Sanctum" north of Windhelm?

I meant the one on the southeastern bank of the river near Solitude. The one that looks like it's described as "Tundra Marsh."

The first word of the Sanctum looks like Shor, but that would need another, fairly short word in between. It might also be Saarthal, but the ruins of Saarthal look like they're on the northern coast.

Yeah, that's the one I was talking about. The one above the river and to the West looks like it starts with an S to me. For some reason I thought the hold might be Hallmarch, but there's no hold called that to my knowledge, so that must have just been trying to fill it with somethng random.

The only Hold names we knew about before this were Eastmarch, Winterhold, The Pale, Rift, and The Reach, it's not impossible that it's one we've never heard of before.

Tundra is an area where tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and short growing season. Marsh is swamps, bogs, that sort of stuff. So I figure both in one place.
