This is one problem. A few people think the mmo is gonna Skyrin but online. The only thing I'd say to these people is go play some older elder scrolls games. Don't miss out.

Agreed with all above posters on all counts, it is a not Skyrim MMO, its a TES MMO, it seems it will follow the previous games (there are others) only in lore, not in gameplay. It is also fairly old news and, in my opinion, exceptionally, terribly disappointing. Looks like we won't be seeing another installment of the tried and true Elder Scrolls for a very long time, and with the legal issues on the Fallout side, we won't be seeing a Fallout 4 to the same tune in just as long, if ever.

Looks like I better get comfortable in what we already have.

I don't think the MMO will be bad, but the part that makes me nervous about it is that in most cases, RPGs that go MMO generally don't go back to offline. Or if they do (like FF) the offerings after the MMO aren't half as good as they were before. MMOs killed Ultima, wrecked Final Fantasy, and now TES is online too.
