I was just about to purchase skyrim special edition on my xbox one, but first I wondered do I need an active Xbox gold subscription to download and install mods? I never play online multiplayer so I never have needed the gold subscription for my other games and i really dont want the gold. I of course have internet connection for netflix, hulu, etc. Can anyone tell me if I need it for the mods or not? Thanks

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a singleplayer only video game.

Mods are just searched on the internet if you have a internet connection.
