Skyrim - Native resolution 720p? FPS 30 or 60?

Guys,

Was concerned about Skyrim's native resolution. I am hoping its an HD 720p version instead of a sub HD on both consoles. And does anyone have a clue about its FPS?

It's almost certainly going to be 1280x720 or lower for both consoles.

Very, very few games for PS3 and even less for Xbox are designed for 1920x1080 native resolution.

It supports 1080p tvs by upscaling the 720p image, but it's definitely not rendered in 1080 on consoles.

I'm pretty sure the game is running at 30 fps. The only games I know of that run at 60 fps is Call of Duty and Rage.

The vast majority of confirmed XBox screens are 1280x720. I doubt Skyrim's native resolution on either console will be 1920x1080, but I'm sure both will stretch their native resolution up to but no greater than 1920x1080. 720p? I wouldn't doubt at all for either console. 1366x768 perhaps? 1080p natively? I doubt it, objectively. I'd also wager the consoles will be aiming for a solid 30 frames/second. Regardless, Skyrim will be amazing on all supported platforms.

Yeah, expect 720p and 30 fps at best. No way in heck this game runs at 60, and I don't even expect 30 fps to be locked. There will be times with the frame rate chugs, but FO3 did this less frequently than OB, so hopefully the smoother fps rate trend continues...

Skyrim looks great, it doesn't matter for me if its 720p or 1080p or 10000000p, it'll still look great.

Most of the games that run at 1080p on the current console generation seem to be primarily sports games. IMO it seems unlikely that a massive open world game like Skyrim would run at native 1080p.
