SKSE: Download http://skse.silverlock.org, here.
SkyUI with MCM Support
Skyrim v1.8+
You need to launch Skyrim via the SKSE_Loader.exe or it you are using ATTK you need to start it with ATTK's .exe
Description:
As the title already states, this mod aims to change skyrim skill on use system to a more RPG like system, now you will gain EXP Points which will gain you Skill Points, which then can be spend to level up your skills.
The new system gives you exp for the following things:
- [Discovering new Locations]
- [Solving Quests]
- [Solving Misc Objectives]
- [Killing Enemys]
- [Harvesting Plants/Critters/Fishes]
Once you get to a certain EXP level the new system will reward you with a new Skill Point, those skillpoints can then be spend into skill trees via a MCM.
The standard Reward is 2 Skillpoints in a perktree per Skillpoint you gained by EXP.
To level up after you gained a SKillpoint, go to your Journal Menu -&--#62; System -&--#62; MCM -&--#62; Skill Distributor.
In game messages will explain you the mod once it is installed successfully.
The exp you will gain is calculated by the following:
- [Enemy Stats e.g: Health, One Handed etc...]
- [Enemy Level]
- [Temp Effects]
- [Enemy Type, e.g: Dragons have a higher exp multiplier than humans, animals have the lowest]
This mod makes some things useless for now, those are:
Standing Stones that fastens skill gain.
Well Rested, which also grants Skill gain.
Skill Books, because they work by calculating the exp need for the next skill level, but this mod disables the gain of Normal Skill exp gaining, thus making skill books useless.
If you have any ideas on what to do with those things, let me know.
Could use some people to help me testing and setting a good balance.
