If this is fake, I'm adding it myself after I get the game...

The transition from 1:06 to 1:20 simply screams Jeremy Soule to me.Especially how the Viola and Cello subsides at 1:08 while the flutes and brighter strings still 'hang'.

-I am 80% sure it's Soule
-If it is, it's not an old track from another project
-afaik, his only project is Skyrim atm (although we can assume he's finished that now)

and

-If this is fake, I'll eat my winter coat.

I can't wait :)

Don't bother Pete too much about it. He might not even know if it's the actual music for all we know. Do producers generally involve themselves in their games so much that they know all of the music for it? Maybe someone in the development section could help more.

The song really reminds me of this song...

I do look forward to putting both songs into my game.

It's just a generic song from APM Music.

Ok. But one thing, your song doesn't sound like jeremy soule's work... Mastering; Orchestration...That's definitly not Soule's.

It sounds okay. I don't think it's official because some random just uploaded it, but also the soundcard quality doesn't sound as polished as his previous work (notably Morrowind, but has Soule started using real instruments yet?). Strings are too synthesised, it actually sounds like a computer - while his work is usually computer generated, I was fooled for about 7 years that Morrowind was played by a real orchestra. This song sounds like a rendering.

Yes you're right :)

Then we'll see: Fake, official, fanwork, ost of an other thing...

We just need an answer.

You can't invalidate my opinion.

Of course he can, he just did. Didn't make any sense, but hey... ;)

I doubt it's real. It might be some earlier Jeremy Soule work, however. He has also released tracks by himself just for fun (like a Final Fantasy 6 tribute at ocremix.org).

Just as I suspected. Someone could upload "Skyrim Soundtrack - Jeremy Soule - Hrothgar Rock Anthem" and people would believe it.

I had an app on my old phone that would record 10 seconds of a song then search some online database to find you its details (artist, song title, album etc). It was called TrackID I think, a Sony application.

If you can find something similar to that, you might get an answer.
