Ha ha. Skyrim's Ninroot is in Fallout 4

Came across this in my BoS travels and thought how remarkably similar this was to the one in Skyrim. Then ran across this Kotu article which confirmed it. Great Easter Egg on Beth's part.

I love easter eggs like this. :)
It reminds me of the dovahkiin helmet in the Wolfenstein DLC.

Nope. But it does radioactively "glow". Makes for nice lighting in dimly lit areas.

Definitely a resource custom home modders will be taking advantage of next year

I'll look for that next time. Though I've been all over, or thought I had, that area and never saw it. Or maybe just glanced passed it but didn't make any connection.

Interesting what it said about Fallout and Skyrim are a part of the same world, and a crossover of the two. Certainly gets the imagination firing. Probably just a bit of fun though.

Hubflower in Fallout 4 is also, visually, an homage to Skyrim's Deathbell.

The people who wrote that article know nothing of the lore of either francise. :/

Fallout takes place on an alternative version of Earth.

The Elder Scrolls take place in a different universe altogether, a universe where Nirn is at the very centre of Creation and everything orbits around it, including its Sun. There are not even any other Suns in the TES universe, the stars are mere holes in the veil between Creation and Aetherius, all equidistant from the Mundus.

They do not take place in the same universe and never will.

Kotaku don't know [censored]? Halt the presses :P.

And yeah, wish I could get paid to write an overly long article on an Easter Egg that doesn't really need any explanation.

Years ago one of my friends and I joking came up with a convoluted theory that the Elder Scrolls and Fallout were in the same universe.

Jokingly saying magic is just radiation/mutations, it would explain all the Races(mutants), Akavir is whats left of Asia, etc.

Never expected it to be somewhat teased at! Hahah
