Skyrim has some bugs, true. But it is still essentially a much more fulfilling and deep experience than games like Zelda, which you play once then forget about. (And yes I have played the Zelda games including Skyward Sword.)

Skyrim is game of the year, not buggiest game of the year. Should Beth have let someone else do a better port job to PS3 and PC? YES.

The game has a gamebreaking bug. I can't play Zelda anymore because of it.

Edit: My Skyrim game is fine. I wonder sometimes why the bugs never see the light of day when I play it but so many other people seem to get it even if I have more than 100 hours played.

Alright, so it may have not met some of our expectations, and it obviously is still quite flawed, but compared to the rest of the crop it still stands out easily. Doesn't that warrant consideration at least for GOTY?

Personally, it'll be GOTY 2012 for me, once the mods start rolling out :thumbsup:

Ah the ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze me. I firmly believe Skyrim deserves GOTY, if you don't agree with this please tell me what does. After all we all have our own valid opinions, for the most part, and I would like to hear them.

This year? I ironically can't remember any good games that launched this year. One game I played for the first time in 2011 was better, but it did not actually come out this year so it technically does not count. Skyrim has nothing but improvements to be made and leaves a lot to be desired. I was downright disappointed. However, I would have to say it would get GOTY anyways.

It stands out? Well yeah, I can't actually play the damned thing because of the lag and crashing issues, so I suppose that does set it apart from the rest of my video games. I certainly don't have any other games where that is the case.

Jesus, so we like the game. You know, liking the game and acknowledging its flaws aren't incompatible. If you think you're the only one ticked off about bugs and the like because you're the only one acting upset, you're wrong.

Seriously though, enough with the exclamations and accusations; you're overreacting and sound immature. The game's got problems but it's also great.

I think it deserves GOTY. I love the game, I don't have any issues with it. Anyone who doesn't like it shouldn't even be on this forum.
