Skyrim Nominee for GoF? : V

I mean Morrowind and Oblivion got it. And I really hope Skyrim wins this one as well and not that atrocious thing of a game they call Call of Duty. I think Skyrim is actually going to have some competition with titles such as GoW3 and Cysis2 as well as that abomination CoD.

You mean GoTY. Yeah I could see Skyrim getting GoTY, but its going to have to work for it though. There are some really good games coming out this year, Witcher 2, Battlefield 3, Rage, Crysis 2, and Gears of War 3.

Unless the new Cod is as revelutionary as Cod 4 I doubt its gonna be in the running. If my memory serves me correctly, FPS's don't have a very good history with Game of the Year

Battlefield 3 will most likely win, if EA and DICE keeps their word of having the largest ad campaign they ever imagined before and keeping the game to BF roots. Crysis 2 won't win though i can ensure you that right now.. Skryim does has a good chance but all depends on how much Beth goes out in the advertising section

Agree'd,BF3 and WItcher 2 have a good chance i'd think.　Skyrim will get it though, no doubt in my mind.

Their add campaign is pretty good. They got a facebook page that once it gets to 1 million likes they release a 13 minute gameplay video. At the moment they have over 600,000. The Elder Council on facebook has about 140,000 likes.

Skyrim is still going to win in my books though

well hes right.. Crytek even offically stated it so ya. Crysis 2 is worse then Farcry 2 and that is saying something

ya.. that FB thing is horrid way of advertising because theres nothing out their I seen showing it, and of course they are more of a twitter bug then a FB one

I think Skyrim will snag the most GoTY awards but some magazines and websites have a track record for being totally [censored] stupid. I have no problem if BF3 or The Witcher 2 gets it, as long as they both live up to their hype as well. I'm sure BF3 will but I wasn't fond of the first Witcher, so unless they completely changed it it won't be getting played by me.

A lot of good games are coming out this year but none even compare to Skyrim. It will win.
