love this thread, cyber strangers meet n greet and speak of crystal wine and sandy beaches.

well, i'm from ireland. thread poster, if that picture is really your home well i tip my hat to you sir, wonderfull place
to live i would imagine. i'm a total nature and animal guy { no, not like that }. you have a little bit of HEAVEN there my
friend. beautifull

outside my window? sadly a bloody brick wall, the back yard is a total mess - landlord couldn't care less about it, it's a
pitty as it would make a gorgeous garden or something.
someone posted MINESOTA {spelling??} another lovely place, would love to live in
nebraska or alaska  Ely = Paul Massey

Thank you sir, Yeah Our nature means much to us Norwegians. Thats also why nature is wery inportant for me in games, to get a realistic feel to it =)
Never bin to Ireland but want to, probably no greener place on earth. And alot of beer haha =P
Yeah the world is full of places worth to visit, i can feel the Viking blood hunger for exploration and adventure. Porbably why Norwegians have a long history as explorers.
Minnesota, western Wisconsin, northern Iowa, and the Dakotas, more than 15% are of Norwegian descent. Nearly one-third of all North Dakotans claim Norwegian as their ancestry. I gues those Norwegians who emigrated more than hundred years found places looking like home, eaven if they had the option to go further south =)

Northern Alaska wil be at my latitude, but wilder and more untaimed nature, great place=)

Hmm, I couldn't quite deside in what option Finland would fit the best. It's more like in the North-eastern side.

Anyways we should be having snow soon, and I'd be much more eager to play Skyrim than enjoy the real snow.
At least in Skyrim there will be no trouble with plowing the snow to get from point A to point B. <_<

Hahaha yeah get on those winter tiers and 4 weel drive =)

I'm in the mountains just north of Gaitherburg MD. Scenery is a mix between Skyrim and Oblivion, house is on a lake which looks like the OP's pic, just a lot more trees. If I want the full extent, I'll just drive down the road to Bethesda Softworks and sit in their concept artists office.

Where I live is more like Fallout than any Elder Scrolls game...

:flamethrower: :flamethrower:

Although I work in the city of Chicago (not in an area quite as bad as that picture though!), I live in the suburbs, much more bucolic, think Oblivion West Weald...

Live in the U.S. -- The Pacific Northwest to be a bit more exact.

I love it. Deep pine forests, sleepy little towns, soothing rain, and the city of roses.

I live in Portsmouth, Hampshire... so unless Skyrim has lots of hoodies and needle exchange programs, I don't think it's outside my window.

I'm joking... it's lovely really. You have to admire the town that invented the £1 Pound Shop, and then immediately complained it was too expensive!

I'm joking again...
