Dungeons with more uniqueness, more traps and more environmental puzzles. Woohoo!

I love the idea of making bows and daggers more viable weapon choices this time around!

(Daggers, especially, have always been useless in the past.)

The fact that almost *E*V*R*Y* aspect of the game is better than its predecessor bar a few small and unimportant things like the probable lack of attributes, and the like. :)

That sums it up.

Can we start a negative discussion thread?
One positive I can think of is, hey, it's a new elder scrolls game! Woo-Hoo!

cripes where do i start :P lets see there are assasinations the dwemer stuff is back the graphics look incredible (that trailer was from an xbox so pc users can exect some far better graphics) you can set traps with magic via setting runes on the ground the magic system all together seems vastly improved weapons get finishers and over all the setting is more serious also finnaly get to test myself against an elder scrolls dragon (should be interesting) npcs seem like theyr gonna be more alive then ever before and for now thats it ;) also i applaud you creating such a positive thread
this forum needs more of em  . not just baww that water looks bad because its moving so fast its white

I'm very much looking forward to the gameplay itself. We all know the role playing will be awesome - this is a Bethesda game after all. But the gameplay in Oblivion wasn't as top-notch as many other things. Especially the archery. However, that is going to change in Skyrim with deadlier arrows, amongst other things, and I'm looking very much forward to that. I hope they upped the stealth elements too. Oblivion's were great, but it wasn't perfect, especially because you didn't know if someone was hostile when you'd been spotted, except for the battle music. I also hope you will be able to shoot someone with a bow at a distance without the person knowing where you are all of the sudden. Kinda like when using a suppressed weapon in Fallout 3.

Enough about my hopes, what about what we already know? God, there's so much... Everything, really; there's nothing I'm not looking forward to.

Magicka looks much more intense and seems to have more versatility. I've never played a pure mage but I'm heavily considering it now.

Hand crafted worlds. The more unique the better!

Yeah, it was not easy to close oblivion gates with a bow and arrow. My ranger just ran through those, drinking potions.

It's not? That's all I've ever done. I rarely smack things with swords. I'm liking the rune stones btw. Also hoping for exploding potions. Oh, and perks too. Gotta love some perks.

I'm really liking all of the changes to the combat system. The magic changes are awesome, the melee is going to look amazing, and the stealth is going to be really cool. It feels balanced while still adding all these great new features. I can't wait till November.

Well it was my first run in my first TES. My old 360 save read: Wood elf, Play time 236:13:46, Level 42. I was running around in an elven set up, with a knife and bow.

Explains it? :)
